Import Alliance Spring Meet

Will any of you FT86Club folks be in Atlanta for this on March 19 & 20? A bunch of local import guys are going and asked me to come along- I think I will! Hope to see some of you there, sounds pretty cool.

Another 10 series! :)
I'll most likely be there. I don't know if my car will be, yet. There's a good number of people who will probably be there. Still seems a while off, even though it is next month.

I may go, never been to import alliance. Checked for a hotel yesterday and they are all booked up in a 25 mile radius.

@icitaka, should this maybe be in the SE local section?

EDIT: @ichitaka05

You will probably get better response in the Southeast subforum. tag a mod if you want it moved

Also, I am sorry that I interrupted all of the important polls on whether or not a dildo shifter knob is nice or rice. I can see why my post would irritate people on the main frs forum. I mean, one must open them. It isn't as if one could skip them if he didn't want to read it. Thanks for clarifying the rules. I will post to the forums where no one ever visits or responds from now on.

i didnt clarify a rule nor was I the one who reported this and had it moved. I actually was just making a suggestion as not everybody knows about the regional forums. hence why i told you to tag a mod if you wanted it moved. maybe bitch out the other guy that tagged a mod (and it didnt even work cuz he got the name wrong)

i guess I'll just stop trying to be helpful :iono:

if you believe general section is better? Here, I'll move it back to general section JUST to get buried in your so called "polls on whether or not a dildo shifter knob is nice or rice." Or just get trolled on. To me, idc

I am sorry for being snarky. I was told by people that have been, that people from all over the country and world would be there. It is a gathering of ten thousand-ish cars .I wondered if anybody from outside the region might be in attendance. I love my car, and don't run into too many other enthusiasts with our rides. I hoped I would, hence my question. For being excited about our cars and hoping to run into others who are too, I am surprised that such a question is problematic on an enthusiast forum. Troll away now if you guys must. I am truly sorry for wasting everybody's time. :sigh:

Saw many 86's today.

An RS1.0 died going to this meet. Shoulda joined the caravan to stay safe.

Nisien 03-22-2016 03:38 PM

Yeah saw a lot myself too. I was staying at the Quality Inn over by the Summit store there were a couple other 86's staying there, was this any of you guys? It was a major PITA to find E85 I had to drive all the way to the ATL airport to fill up.

As I was leaving the meet Sunday I was right behind a 240 who gunned it coming out of a turn. He lost control and did a 360 on the highway blowing the tires off and crossed the ditch into the opposite lane of traffic . Made the whole trip worth it.

Do you belong to wiregrass auto enthusiasts? They meet at north side Lowes on Saturday nights about 8pm. Also Friday nights at 8 next to enterprise Hardee's. Should come out, the "cruise's" are a blast! There is one other twin there, but he is getting ready to be stations in Korea. It is a pretty cool mix of people, and nobody judges your ride. Lots of different genres of cars show up. It is a big circle jerk, but it is fun hanging with other car folks. Look up wiregrass auto enthusiasts on FB.

I may come out sometime. I just moved down there this past August to take a teaching job. I've seen a blue brz in my apartment complex that has exhaust but haven't talked to him. I passed a white FRS one day which almost looked identical to mine lol I even had someone pull up next to me and roll down their window to talk thinking I was the other person. I ordered a Focus RS which should be in by the end of summer so if you know anyone that might be interested in some ceramic coated JDL UEL headers and a openflash tuner in a few months let me know.

Edit: couldn't find Wiregrass auto enthusiast on FB only the Wiregrass scca page

Must be invite only. Even the link you posted shows no results lol. That's ok though I'll just show up sometime.
