Why did they even make a scion badge? I can understand Toyota/ Subaru because they bith contributed to making the car but why the Scion badge? It never made sense

Actually, we don't know for sure if the only thing that will change is the badge.

As the car transitions into a Toyota, there may be more flexibility with the FR-S getting additional trim levels or packages.

Subaru is now going to release the AWD Turbo BRZ STI that we've all been waiting for. Scion is finally going away, which is good because the FR-S was a piece of crap compared to the BRZ. Only problem with the BRZ is that's just ridiculously underpowered.


That's all about to change, finally. I'm glad Scion is gone and the FR-S will be re branded as a Toyota, but at the end of the day, it's still a Toyota. Toyota sucks. Subaru 4 life!

Sometimes it's hard to tell if people are actually serious over the internet.

Obviously the Toyota variant will improve, I think people are just excited that their Toyota Scion emblems may become "rare".

Would it be true to say if there were no Scion FRS, there would be no Subaru BRZ? I never heard plans of Subaru bringing an 86 over and rebadging it to a subaru. Fact I think it was a toyota/scion before it was a subaru, so in fact, its the same car, and now you can get the same options, so really infact its the same car!

I'm a lesser person for owning a FRS!
