And does brand recognition matter so much for this car? Enthusiasts will know about it and buy it even if it is called Toyota Boxer 2016. Normal people won't buy it anyway, because it's not practical.

I don't want to have to buy a fruity colored car or have my car look like Scion the blue nose reindeer every time I unlock my car just to have a push button start, climate control and some fucking seat warmers.

Yep, I would argue that 'FRS' is a more recognized brand than 'Scion'. Everyone knows the 'Scion FRS' from all the press it's gotten, but I think most people, even car enthusiasts, would have a hard time listing 3 other Scion models.

FRS sounds like what the car symbolizes, racy sporty looks to kill FRS!!!

Heads would explode around the world if Toyota trolled the Supra worshippers like that.
