^^^ Failure to read thread title. :)

My additions which hasn't been already mentioned: Mazdaspeed Miata (the non-Mazdaspeed versions have already been brought up)

ToxicSneakers 06-28-2012 11:31 AM

'59 AH Sprite (bugeye)
'59 Morgan +4
'59 Elva Courier & FJ
'71 TR6
(Kid you not, I am so old.)

Dadhawk 06-28-2012 11:48 AM

Besides what's listed

MK1 MR2 (OK, already listed but worth repeating several times)

MG Midget
Opel GT

oh and did I mention the MK1 MR2?

ZarWolf 06-28-2012 02:04 PM

A few have already been listed but... '86.5 Toyota Supra N/A '89 Toyota MR2 Supercharged '90 Honda CRX Si '91 Mazda RX-7 TurboII '99 Mazda MX-5 Miata '03 Mini Cooper '05 Honda Civic LX '08 Saturn Sky '12 Toyota Camry SE I can honestly say the most fun of the bunch was the '05 Civic. I don't know why, but it was endless grins, endless revs and constant fun in that car. Wasn't anything amazingly fast, but was far the most fun. The MK1 MR2 and CRX run close second and third though.

Forgot the TR6! Never drove the Morgan or the Elva.

I did drive a lot of 50's cars though (they were my Dad's DD and a couple of race cars), but most had well above 200HP because they had been modded to some level.

His stock '57 Chevy Black "Turbo Fire" V8 was under 200HP (around 160HP I think) though, and I loved that car. He sold right before I could have driven it on the street (I drove it on the back roads in NC). I guess most cars from that era would qualify as <200HP.

Never fully forgave him for that.

shadoquad 06-28-2012 02:27 PM

I forgot that, in addition to my list, I also had a blast in my aunt's MkI MR2. That was a great little car.

eriktherod 06-28-2012 04:04 PM

I guess the 08' Si barely counts as it's rated 197hp from the factory, though it wasn't AS fun until it crossed that number in whp (and vtec @ 4k).

Asterisked Accolade 06-28-2012 04:41 PM

I've had quite a lot of fun in my girlfriend's Mazda3 actually. It doesn't roll a lot, it's got enough oomph around town, and i love the steering wheel.

My Dad's 71 Cutlass was pretty fun as well. It's always fun to know that at any time you could drop your right foot and vulcanize your tires.

Is that a cappuccino?! If so, I always wanted to putt one around a track, looked like it would be a blast.

Yes, it's Cappuccino.

FYI, if you ever buy it to track it, make sure to find small track and not long ones. Cuz if there's even a long straight line, expect everyone to beat you. In the corner, it's a lot more blast than Miata... just the straight line...

I was thinking of importing one & swap v6 in there LMAO

|-Goku-| 06-28-2012 08:58 PM

I always have a blast driving my 09 Civic Si :)
