Alex's SWP BRZ
I have been putting off making a journal for a bit since I've been pretty busy and honestly don't have that much money to spend on modding it right now. But I figured that I'd share my car with yall here.
Just have a 2014 Subaru BRZ Limited. Little back story, I had a 2004 STi before this carcar. Bought it when I was 18. Not that typical "got a fast car at a young age and immediately crashed it" however I did end up making a grave driving mistake and that led to me totaling the car and getting the BRZ. Picked the car up with 48 miles at the dealership. Within a day I had switched the 'prius' tires to the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A and have had a blast with those. A week later, I got the Perrin transmission mount support insert. Then I ordered the Nameless Performance 3" axleback with the 5" mufflers and standard 4" tips about a month after that. Two months later I ordered the sti rear wing gurney flap off of Japanparts.Com. I had opted to buy my sti back from the insurance company and began to part it out. About 3 weeks ago I had sold my sti 6spd swap without the Brembos for 3.1k and saved up a but more and just ordered the Öhlins road and track coilovers this last Wednesday. They are going to be delivered this next Wednesday and going to try and install that night. Once I sell some more parts off of the sti, I am going to order the whiteline rear lower control arms and differential cradle bushings. I was originally going to sell my Brembos for another 1k but I think I'm going to do the whole flipping the caliper over and install them on the BRZ. I have also picked up a set of 245/40 R17 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A to put on the wheels that I have chosen to put on my car when the funds allow. My desired wheels are Work Emotion D9R 17X9.5 +28. After that I want to complete the exhaust with Nameless Performance the rest of the way. Then I feel that getting engine management would be in order and would like to get the Motec M150 Standalone ECU. Pics are to follow as soon as I get them together and have time to go through and upload them Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |

Want it to be functional, since we all know Öhlins are not the slam your car type of coilover setup Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |
Looking great! What's the mod list aside from that?

Thank you, have had a blast so far
Perrin trans mount stiffener, STi gurney flap, Öhlins, I am thinking that I don't need the rear LCA because rear camber is - 1.3 and - 1.8 I may do carbon fiber Driveshaft or Essex brake kit first before the LCA. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |

Just ordered mine from evasive, wanted to go a different route than black wheels on a white car or even the gunmetal. I got the 17x9 +35 with the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A 245/40R17 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |

Love the contrast between the white car and bright wheels!

Thanks brother, I'm happy, I was considering them in black but everyone does that... So I went the different route

Still going to do the Brembo install, but I decided to swap bleeders to keep the leading and trailing Pistons in the same orientation.
I just got me Brembo reseal kit from Subaru, so once the calipers are powdercoated I can reseal them and install them. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...306_222535.jpg Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |
Then after all that is done, I'm still going to ditch the fronts and get the AP Racing Endurance kit from Essex.
