Hatsune Miku 86 / TRD 86 in Tokyo
 

Was in Japan last week on business, stopped by a Toyota showroom.
Right now there is a huge Hatsune Miku craze in Japan, and Toyotas aren't immune.

Call me crazy, but the 86 "itasha" doesn't look half bad.

Here is a list of touges in Japan which customers have said are best for the
GT86. Unsurprisingly, most of them are in Gunma prefecture. ]
I have driven on two of them and can imagine how fun they would be in an 86.

Sweet! I have no idea what Hatsune Miku is, but I kinda like the anime graphics on the sides of cars lately. Not really sure why.

sorry to hate but i do not dig the whole "itasha" thing. i mean, there's a reason it's called itasha, they are painful to the eyes. i mean c'mon, hatsune miku? wth is that?

Hatsune Miku is a Vocaloid (the very first one made actually) from Yamaha.... a synthetic singer to digitally create songs. Basically open source singer for artists to create music with. Personally, 'she' is my favorite Vocaloid and has some pretty cool songs:

I guess you can say I like Miku, having 6 Miku albums in my collection, the Append Miku Figma (100th Figma made) posable figure, and pre-ordered the Racing Miku sculpted figure (since the beginning of this year...) I think Miku looks better when not on cars though...
