Are you insinuating that I'm an old fart and that I resist change? :paddle:

OK, you're right...:D

Haha sorry, no I was referring to the tuners actually. :D

As for these gains, be so kind and supply a SABS calibration certificate on dyna in questions, less than 6 months old. That is engineering standard for measuring anything. You are measuring something ...... but you are not measuring actual kW output. The reason why the dyna ask for model and make of vehicle ...they have a base of what the output should be and they use that. The gain is relative to you original input.

As for volumetric efficiency ...... you cannot change that by anything but getting more air and fuel into the cylinder. FI is one option, gas flowing, better air filtration flow and xhaust with better scavenging and even cams ...can and will change volumetric efficiency at a specific rpm.

Volumetric efficiency is a physics term and is constrained by physic laws ...not some ECU code unless it affects air volume intake on each cycle with additional fuel ....... like turbo boost

Thump your chest all you want, get indignant ...bottom line no evidence of any claims apart from uncalibrated dyna graphs are given as fact :D

You know what they say - there are none as blind as those who refuse to see. Or something like that. :bonk:

To put some clarity ...any of these tweaked NA 86's done 0-100 and 1/4 miles before and after ...... with those gains ...... the improvement should be significant. Nothing to gippo ...just cold hard timed results :D

And this is where the men are separated from the boys. I doubt any will step forward with the above.

Or in most cases ..ignorance is bliss :D

Funny how this lack of fact doesn't bother many. First sign you don't know what you are talking about when you don't quote/stop quoting fact and start personal comments :D

I cant understand why you finding it hard to believe the facts put forward to you.
there is no reason for any of us to publish :bs: figures.
here facts based on my personal car with dyno charts to back every mod.

base - 115wkw
add DIF - 119wkw
add BRZ zorst - 122wkw (this test i can say was not 100% as I did new sw upgrade from Toyota but the gains were noticed mid)
add Header - 126wkw no tune
add tune - 133wkw

all the above same dyno on 95 ron, tried to keep consistant temperatures on the coast.
you will be :confused0068:if you had to take on a 139wkw NA against your RGM SC, just cant get rid of it.

anyway, Im a noob....

Is there a Software upgrade available at Toyota? Is there any spesific request we can make during our services to get this software added?

if you bought your car pre Feb 2013, Toyota issued a SW upgrade for the injector seal problems.
