When i talked to Myles today, he said that as is, the 225/280 rates are VERY streetable on the Zero's. I went 350/350 because I want track performance, and even though i'm driving it mostly DD in the summer, I don't give a rats@ss about how supple the ride is.

Maybe that will help. They gotta be down to like 2 sets or so left...

Thank you, sir.

So on the Tarmac 0's, which spring rate would be slightly stiffer than RCE Yellows on stock struts?

Yellows are 250 lbs/in front and rear

Standard on Tarmac Zero is 225/280. Option for 280/280 or 350/350. Maybe they have more options, but that should help.

Well its not needed for use with camber plates and so far its 50/50 for those who have ordered Zeros and T2's.

As Drew said we will start offering some assembled packages soon. Making it VERY plug in play.

yeah and please everyone send a shout out to Little M as her 2000 Audi S4 ( Smurf blue) was hit by some idiot a few days ago. Being a true car girl she was very upset. She even had thoughts of doing a LS1 swap into a BRZ until her insurance company said they were NOT going to total it.

BTW her car had Stasis Ohlins, GT3 brakes, full alcantara interior and a 4inch downpipe ! Sickness on wheels. True car chic to the MF-core !

Wow, it would appear that working for RCE pays well.

Tell her, her car is in our thoughts. Hopefully it'll still drive straight after they've pulled it back into shape.

Oh, and is she ok?

For those that have put these on themselves in driveway or garage. How long did it take you?

Two hours should be enough if you're proficient. Three if you're taking your time, torquing everything with a torque wrench, and you have to install the top mounts with a spring compressor.

I've swapped struts several times on various Subies over the years. With the proper tools and assistance it's possible to get it done just like Calum said. Research what's needed and make sure it's what you have or can get to quickly because it's a pain leaving a car hanging while you wait for the proper tools.

A pass through socket set is really handy. In the past I've gotten away with a spark plug socket that you can put a wrench on, and just putting an allen key through the drive hole, but the strut bolts are a different size on this car.
