Just read through your whole build thread and I must say this is one of the best looking BRZs Ive seen!! Im going down to my Subaru dealership tonight after work and placing an order for my 2014 model, Ive been debating between WRB and Lightning Red and you may have just swayed my choice!! Keep up the good work and great updates!!

Thank you! And WRB was my first choice of color but there were none to be found when I was hunting for mine... But I will say while the Lightning Red was nowhere near my top choices when I first started looking, it has really grown on me over time. I don't think you'll be disappointed either way ;) Good luck with your purchase!

Ted- I'm anxious to look over your car at SMMR in a few weeks. Would you mind taking me for a ride? I'm interested in feeling the front end suspension difference and get your impression on the robi V2 oil cooler setup. Your car is almost a carbon copy of what I would like my car to be. I'm almost out of school so I'll be able to spend money on mods soon enough to catch up. Looks great!

The air ducts will remove the fog lights but they're built to fit around the DRL's (I believe this is true for both the BRZ and FRS APR air ducts). Hope that helps!

Ted, did you end up getting a Voltex wing yet? I'm trying to get a Type 2 1700mm one from one of the vendors here that's parting out. What are your thoughts on it? Too much?

I did! It was supposed to arrive in Dec but it showed up 2+ months early and it's being installed either today or tomorrow. I got the Type 2 1600mm wing and I've been told it might be a tad much (which is why I ordered the APR canards). I would imagine 1700mm might be overkill but if you have plans for a front splitter/canard setup, it could work out.

At worst case, you might want to adjust your suspension to counter the possible understeer that the wing will induce. And this is all assuming you're planning to seriously track the car. If you're just getting it for looks or for casual track days, I wouldn't sweat it ;)

Let me know if you go for it though! Would love to compare the two wings.
