Haha!! I was just thinking the same thing. If anyone drives around the LAX area, I'm sure you'll spot me eventually! FRS has TC105n wheels now tho.

just adding to this thread... i got rolled this morning by 2 bike cops :( they weren't really ****s but man, they inspected EVERYTHING on my car. busted out the rulers and the works. he said he was going to be "nice" and give me just a tix for my exhaust....... with a state ref requirement -______-

it hasnt actually been too bad for me with cops and my car but recently theres been a lot of stupid street racing accidents so the cops are just cracking down hard on any modified cars they see. stupid ass kids fucking it up for everyone.

Update on my mine, the cop never filed the ticket so I'm just checking in every week for a year till he does (or doesnt). I havent changed the car to CARB yet.

how'd you find out that hasn't filed the ticket yet? was yours marked as non-correctable too?

Bunch of my buddies have been getting tickets recently. We were having a late dinner the other day, noticed a cop circling around a couple times. Our cars were parked next to the curb and when we left....BAM! Front plate and tint tickets all around.

You can check your ticket status online. The clerk at the courthouse said the online system was just as up to date as if you called in and inquired.

Yea, but you should still show up on your court date so you have proof of appearance. Its just a precaution in case they do file later down the road. You'll have something to show them that you tried to take care of it.

so when you went to your court date, did you still have your car as-is? what about fines/fees?
