No internal engine parts no care. It will take a lot more than a fancy dubstep video and rebranded (Nameless) parts to get my attention.

So then, Stage 1 for the BRZ/GT86. It's rather complex with 'up to 230bhp (233hp)' available, so read closely. There's a free flow exhaust developed with Nameless Performance, a 'Power by Cosworth' remap plus a 'performance filtration solution and low temp thermostat'. That takes you to 223hp (220bhp), with the optional combined overpipe front pipe taking that to 228hp (225bhp). A new manifold header is available as well, reducing underbonnet temperatures plus taking power to 233hp (230bhp). Not drastic admittedly, but Cosworth is keen to point out that 330hp (325bhp) and even a 380hp 'race track configuration' are in development.

So if I spend cash on the first stage (this exhaust/cooling work) ... when the next bit releases it'll "build" upon this one?

Tempting...

So 230bhp * ~15% = 196whp which is pretty easy to achieve already.

Geez, that nameless header just doesn't seem that great. Really glad I didn't wait for that. Overall this package seems like what we've had for a year but probably several thousand more... Overall very disappointing.

JohnJuan 05-30-2014 09:44 AM

@MAPerformance , Cosworth has you listed as a distributor. When can we expect to see these in stock?

speargunsandracecars 05-30-2014 10:50 AM

How much is the catback?

OICU812 05-30-2014 10:52 AM

Well that was very uneventfull. :-/ So are we to see the blower wtc stage 2 details soon?.... One can hope.

I swear everyone on this forum expects the car to shoot unicorns and rainbows from the tailpipe every time someone announces a new exhaust product.

You have to look between 3500 and 5500 RPM, not the peak power... It's a huge difference and well worth it.

Overall it's what I expected, rebranded Nameless parts for the UK folks with Cosworth Ecutek mapping.
