Not much else, very probable speculation that the High pressure fuel pump issues will be fixed (ie. the pump will be re-engineered specifically for the car) and a new TSB will be put up for the 2013s (still speculation). Maybe the other nitpick rattles and issues will be fixed. I'm waiting till September as you are and might place an order with a plan in August, but honestly for a sports car, if you live in the north east, you only get a few weeks if not a month of fun with the car at the temps the car works best at, then you either get cut up with cold (not that bad) or rain and Penn Dot in PA over salting the roads thinking the rain will freeze. I just think they would've allowed us to enjoy the car in the more appropriate months  not complaining the car is near perfect for driving pleasure, also Maybe after 2014 they will have HIDs.

With the 2014 being produced a month away, do we know when to expect the 2013 price cuts? Tempted to buy the '13 but if prices drop soon...

Maybe price cuts in August or September I have been watching the prices like a hawk and my local dealer was a tad bit more lenient than when I came up to them 7 months ago. Much lower APR, price cut is doubtful with the Pure Price issue, but watch them most likely they will cut the MSRP by $1000-$3000 to just get the things off the lot if not they are desperate and you can force their hand.

I wouldn't expect significant changes in already outstanding FR-S coupe platform. It seems Toyota is focusing on developing the FR-S convertible.

the convertible is getting canned since they don't think the price point will stay competitive? http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dl...#axzz2akQQFve5

Hope they come out with a fix or at least an acknowledgement of the DI detonation issue. I don't want to own a sports car that's not sports durable.
