When people say, "May the Forth Be With You", I instinctively respond, "and also with you." And I can't help but feel that was from growing up Catholic. I feel like a moron.

May 4th is known as Star Wars day. "May the force be with you" is a common line in the movies. So "May the Fourth" is a play on words.

At the end of a Catholic mass there is the line "The Lord be with you" (or "Peace be with you" in some cases?) to which the response was "And also with you". Since the first part is so similar, the ingrained response is pretty much automatic.

Fun fact, apparently they changed the response in 2011 to "And also with your spirit" which would be at least 7 times more embarrassing because it's way harder to play off lol.

Today is "Revenge of the Fifth" which is a play on Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
However, there seems to be no end to these now.

Darth Mayder says:

To which Yoda replies:

And the Maydalorian claims the entire month with a play on their mantra:

Don't you talk about how you can't drive any of your current fun cars anymore or something?
