Hi Guys,
Came here looking for a way to change my OFT to display Metric units and potentially locate a better tune for my BRZ with UEL headers and drop in filter, trying to decode, but this isn't making a whole lot of sense.

I'm in AUS and can't seem to work out how to edit my Definition files to metric. though I don't imagine that would change my OFT real time display.

Can't change the OFT display from imperial.

I’m new to this software stuff. I’m trying to find a more step by step process of how to get this done. 2016 frs I have the tactrix open port 2.0 downloaded ecu flash and that’s as far as I’ve gotten. Looking now just to flash an oft tune or something similar. Thanks!

You need to download and install ecuflash on a windows pc. Install flash definitions

then you can read and write your ecu. Suggest you read first to find your current ecu calibration id

Then you need a matching\compatable tune file to write to ecu

Added some more 2019 and 2020 stock roms

EAGLE5 07-14-2021 08:38 PM

Is ZA1JB01C still the most up to date ROM for the 2013 US MT? Are the ROMs linked in the first post 100% stock or modified?

Supposedly California is now doing checksums on ECUs to see if the ROM is modified, and I don't think I have my stock ROM backup anymore.

Question about a 2017 ROM: I want to flash an OFT ZA1JK00R ROM via tactrix. The ecuflash definition for K00G seems to open the OFT ROM perfectly, but not the ROM read from the car (tables content is all garbage). So is the OFT ROM really a K00G one, that just got modified to contain a K00R calibration ID?

Most importantly, will it be safe to flash the OFT ROM to the car? It's a 2017 MT in South Africa, which I think follows EUDM calibration IDs, with a black manifold.

I can confirm, I flashed it and it worked perfectly.

Correct all oft manual 2017+ tunes are based on K00G jist calod hacked to work on oft.

You may need to adjust the maf scaling for your car as i tihnk the black and red manifold cars may have slightly different intakes and air box

Thanks! Yes I see the fuel trim is around -7% when idling, so there would be value in rescaling the MAF. This is not excessive though.
