I'd never start below 2.5/3k in 3rd for WOT pulls. There's no need as you'd never do it, you'd be in a better gear if you were caning it plus the low end is prone to showing knock corrections when knock may not even be present. Also, I'd argue that doing that doesn't allow logging of real life OL/CL transients that are important in the tuning.
Obviously listen to your tuner and what they want, but starting WOT at too low in too much of a high gear isn't going to be beneficial. Try and simulate situations that you'd actually do in normal driving. |

Just wondering what are the biggest power gains I can get from the open flash system?

the power gains for tuning your car are easily the biggest gains you could expect for short money. Combine a tune with other mods and you can create a fun machine. The OFT is one of the least expensive and versatile tunes out there for this car. It has other dandy features like data logging for the win. If you want to squeeze the most out of your tune then opt for custom tuning. OFT and other's have remote tuning available. check out their website for claims on hp & tq gains |
My datalogging screen is missing the text labels. How can I fix this?
