Recieved my Spec D Headlights today, but won't be able to install until my car is fixed up from the shop

Personally not a fan of the fins, mainly because I love the aggressiveness of your car already. Think that the fins kind of overdo it. Again, personal preference but love the way the car is turning out!! And congrats winning the photoshoot!!:coolpics:

Thanks! Yeah, I was just floating the idea around. It's definitely not a priority, especially at the price. So even if I do decide to get them, it won't be for quite a while :)

Baby LFA makeover Step TWO has begun! Still hoping to have everything done by May 3rd for my next car show.

Stay Tuned!

Edit: Just realized I haven't posted pictures from Step ONE yet. I guess I'll make it a surprise :)

Does the CF gauge hood not create a ton of glare?

I would not say a ton of glare, yes there is some glare from street lights as you drive past, but other than that nothing really. Just barely noticeable.

FRSTRM 04-27-2014 10:28 PM

Front end redesign begins tomorrow! Should be finished Friday. :)

bkblitzed 04-28-2014 12:40 PM

Looks like it has 180whp, but it probably has like 130 right?

FRSTRM 04-28-2014 12:48 PM

Yes of course, it has less WHP than stock.

also don't get those fins, they look horrible and would only ruin the clean look you currently have going for you.

It only came in the black carbon fiber - and it looks ok enough where I don't need to get a custom cover you know? And I'm not doing the fins, no worries :)

FRSTRM 04-28-2014 02:05 PM

Yeah, I was thinking about maybe some other black CF accent in the interior to offset that piece (CF AC rings, etc.)

totally understand, you might lose points come show season since they won't match but its certainly not top priority as it looks good.

I think you should keep it white! lol

Looks good. At least better than on an iPhone screen :)

FRSTRM 04-29-2014 10:35 AM

Haha I actually kind of liked it white, but I really can't stand body kits that don't match (or at least compliment) the main color of the car. It's at the shop now, will look back to new come Friday :)

Nice build so far man. We have a few similar mods. Keep it up!

FRSTRM 05-01-2014 11:23 PM

Tomorrow!

CBRZY 05-01-2014 11:56 PM

Can I like, ask your car out on a date for one night? I'll take it to the bestttttt restaurant and ask for the best food (101 octane fuel).
We'll end the night under the stars.

FRSTRM 05-02-2014 12:02 AM

Only if it ends under the stars :)

I didn't like this car in red... Until I saw this thread.

Honestly there's days where I don't care much for the color... And then it goes though a good wash and wax and the color pops and I remember why I got it in the first place. (I also love the color at night when it pulls a deeper red, looks amazing.)

It's been a pretty rough day car-wise, maybe I'll explain later.

For now, here are the latest pictures!

New mods are front bumper, carbon fiber wing, and diffuser (not including the repairs from the hit and run).

On a serious note IMO you are continuing to have the best looking/put together twin on this forum.

FRSTRM 05-06-2014 10:41 AM

Currently researching the Nameless OP/FP Catted/Resonated combo.
@FT-86 SpeedFactory, @Ryan@Nameless, @Jason@Nameless, @Pure Automotive, @ptuning, @Patrick@Ptuning, @Ken@PTuning - thoughts on this system?

I currently have an Invidia N1 Cat-Back Exhaust and the FT86SpeedFactory Catted UEL header is currently on the top of my list for a head. Although, if I go catted front pipe, I may look into a catless header.

I love the sound from the Invidia N1, and would like to increase it slightly (obviously not mind blowing loud - it is a daily driver). But also would like to maximize WHP gains in my exhaust (I'm aiming for at least 200WHP N/A).

Thanks!

Plastidip! Easy and low risk, looks good too.

Wow! Very nice. I was worried that it was some pain in the ass process. When I get my twin, that's on my list. Excellent idea sir.
