Matador: Don't worry about the Gs. It is a representation of a turbo kit on the stock NA motor, offered with a factory warranty. Given the compression this thing runs, plus the numbers it puts out, I would say that we're only talking about 5-6psi (think Greddy twin-turbo kit basic setup on a 350Z, weak). Factory turbo numbers would be much different, torque would peak with more and earlier in the revs if it was a factory made, dedicated turbo motor. As would a full custom, built bottom-end, fully tuned turbo setup.

Ah. Got it. Still seems like very little torque for the setup :iono:

which tires you have? I have bout same HP w soft racing tires and I don't have any problem in the corner... but of course I have full custom suspension set-up which took me over 4hrs to tune (now back to default, due to stupid 1.03 update).

I'll have to check but I think I'm running the Med Race tires. I lightened it alot, like 904kg or maybe under 900kg. I have the full suspension too, -5 height, offset spring rate, 7 compression with 5 rebound, -0.5 rear camber and -0.2 front camber, brake distribution 5 front and 6 rear. IIRC, you can't equip the torque controller. I think I'm even running an LSD too but not sure.

Do you remember your suspension settings by any chance?

K, here's my FT86c set up
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...5/IMAG0084.jpg
Weight: 890
HP: 377 (397hp after oil change)
TQ: 240 (254tq after oil change)
All the parts are all max/custom ones.
Tranny: Custom (so I can set up to every track)
LSD: Inital tq - 21, Acceleration sensitivity - 59, braking sensitivity 21
Suspension: Full Custom
*Ride Height: F0, R0
*Spring Rate: F10.1, R9.7
*Dampers Extension: F9, R7
*Dampers Compression: F8, R7
*Anti-Roll Bars: F7, R7
*Camber Angle: F0, R+0.6
*Toe Angle: F0, R+0.10
*Brake Balance: F5, R5
*Tires: Soft Racing

With this set-up, I'm running 55.612 on Tsukuba and 1:18.283 in Deep Forest. BUT just let you know, this suspension set up is set-up for me, so it's a bit peaky when tires aren't warmed up, so first lap running around +1.5~+2sec. So full brake to slip, no-gas to understeer, gas to adjust the turn. Also I purposely made it rear to slide lil bit on tight corner, so I can turn better. Most of the time it understeer.

So hopefully this set-up help you. If you like your FT86c to turn more, just change the camber or toe angle and stiffen up the rear suspension. I just like this set-up cuz when I go oversteer, I just need to let go of the gas and it correct itself.

^ Thanks Ichi! Let me try your settings out to see how it handles! Anything was better than what I had given we have similar mods and weight. Maybe all I need is slicks!?! Maybe I should load the rear more?!

Did you add the chasis reinforcment?

Each week is like a new mistress! Lately I've been messing with my pearl white GTR!! :bellyroll:

NP, yeah maybe all you might need is slicks. I'll use other FT86 tonight after work w Racing tires to see if my setup or HP/TQ will change.

and yeah added chassis reinforcement, I added everything on that car... but to be honest, I can't tell the difference between with and without

Ichi, your settings are pretty stout! :happy0180: Before I tried your settings, I bought the Med slicks and even that alone was a huge difference. I'm not sure if its your Anti Roll @ 7 or your toe @ 0.10 but the FT plants the turns very hard. On the Tsukuba circuit I was able to get down to a 1:01 during the 5 lap race.

Yeah this setup kinda require some guts, to turn hard you gotta keep the throttle. Sometimes you get out of corner hella fast, sometimes you miss the throttle time and go off course. lol Most of the time, I change anti roll & toes for more turn or less turns to match w that courses I race (of course tranny too)... but other than that, I keep that setup.

Currently, I'm tuning the FT86 for Soft Sports tires, but I'm not getting the setup I like, so I'm still can't write my setup yet. Hopefully, I'll have it by tonight.

Yeah, maybe its my driving technique but I'm a late braker and you can toss the FT in turn with ease!

I'm going to stay with the Racing tires since the grip is a lot better and keep the weight up. I actually reduced the toe a bit and that seemed to make the car slide into the turns a lot better. Your settings is definitely a good benchmark though! :happy0180:

Thanks. I want to know how Dragon set up his FT86c. His G-Sport FT86c was fast in mid speed S turn corners. Where I need to hit a brake, he's on almost full throttle.

Maybe some time later we all need to have FT86c races :happy0180:

That would be sweet! Online, I'm able to sneak into the "HONDA only" and 400hp or less with the FT. I'll usually get booted with the Murcie or R35. A few times, I could hear them talking to each other, "hey what kind of car is that?" "oh shit, thats the new Toyota..."

Hm... never cared to go into online races other than the lounge, so I haven't done actual online races.
