So, will you be selling vortech's own kit, or an OF variant with a vortech sc? Or just including a tune in OFT?

looking good! I may have to go this route...

Put the new Vortech SC off-the-shelf map through some good stress testing today on the dyno:

OFT+OFH+Votech SC (9psi)+Perrin CBE vs Stock
93oct

These aren't glory runs. But a good representation of a relatively conservative tune that should be suitable for general use if hardware requirements are met.

Quick (and very ugly, sorry) comparison of the OFT 300 vs the ESC TQ300 with all the trimmings. ESC has a fairly significant advantage below 4500 rpm, then after 5000 the Vortech just runs away.

Nice comparison. I wasn't even interested in SC until I saw the OFT300 package. Wow.

Just to note, that is about 325bhp. 325 assuming the standard 15% drivetrain loss, equals ~276whp. :burnrubber:

So lets say you have the following

Vortech on 91 gas
Revworks UEL headers
Motiv Overpipe
Invidia test pipe
Invidia Q300
And crappy ECUtek

What will be the benefits of jumping boats to this Openflash tablet.

Unfortunately i havent Dyno my setup but i hate Ecutek and especially John Visconti he lacks people skills and good attitude and i had enough.

Is this gonna come with a e85 tune as well? Or are we gonna need to run bigger injectors for that ?

but 275whp supercharger is not as fast as a 275whp NA, which is not as fast as a 275whp turbo.... so i'm sure it's not 12 sec.. . O_o..

anywho, how soon will we know the price tag for the vortech?

Please provide us the technical information on this statement. Made zero sense to me.

let's say for example you have a 275whp sc,, well the 275whp wont be had untill say 7400rpm (red line)... likewise the na should max it's whp before redline maybe 6.5k if i were to guess.. and the turbo usually gets it max boost around 3k-3.5k...
so a 275whp@7.4k rpm will loose to a 275whp @ 6.5k rpm which will loose to a 275wh @ 4k rpm..

i guess you could say whichever car that can sustain it's max whp for a longer period of time will win.

Wish it was that simple and stupid.

Gearing plays a big part in the power equation.

With the twins and 1/4 mile times, the hardest part seems to be the 60' time. The car just struggles to get off the line and to fix that, you need some serious grip in the rear and a suspension that will keep the tires grabbing.

prove me wrong with your smart and sophisticated reasoning of why you believe a 275whp supercharger is as fast as a 275whp turbo?

all else being equal of course...
