I know the 370z guys meet some where in Alexandria on Sunday or Saturday mornings, maybe we should come up with something.

Katie's Cars and Coffee is every Saturday morning in Great Falls, VA. It is an incredible show, with almost any kind of car you can imagine.

Seneca got nixed because the cops got wind of all the racing and eventually we were told we weren't welcome anymore. People congregate there from time to time but nothing like it used to be. Those were some good times!

Not saying I drive illegally on the street, but good god was Great Seneca Hwy MADE for racing.

Lol that's what I keep hearing but I've never been up there, probrably because the crowd up there back then all they do is race illegally. That and Montrose crossing was down the street from me, those were good days. After that girl died everything just died out, they were harsher on evryone all over the areas surely people still meet just where that's all. What about out in Olney? Heard some words back in the day.

Living in Rockville I was always a fan of Montrose Crossing, back before I had a car when I went to RM I used to ride my bike down to check the cars out LOL

Never heard about a girl dying though, I was told by a cop once thosr fancy condos next to Target went up a bunch of tenants started complaining about the ruckus and the po po were kinda forced to shut it down.

There will always be meets and car scenes but now it's on the down low you just have to be in the know I guess. The meet up spots change so frequently because of johnny law it's gotten a bit ridiculous.

This was my experience. Cars get loud and people complain; those meets usually started late into the night (for regular people who get up early to go to work) when people would be trying to relax and went on for a while. For a while they used to just move across the street, but like I said, I haven't been in years.

Well I think it was 07 or 08 a girl died on the street near by montrose crossing( rockville pike) near the Jag dealer, A 350Z was racing and cut off an Si, the Si flew up into the air and landed on a camry. A girl wells she was my age back then too she died instantly when the s landed on the camry. The SI was totalled( he was a club member and a close friend of mine... wonder what happened to him) and the 350z did a hit and run, they caught the guy about a month or so after. After that cops patrolled that road and the lots near by if they see a gathering they break it up instantly. That condo thing isn't fully BS but they've had meets there for close to 10 years the condo has been there at least 7 and no one cared before. Fatalities because of stupid people are more likely than noise complaint especially when the cops them selves came out to the meets with their under cover mustangs and crown vics regularly. I went there since I was still in middle school the cops were really chill till something bad happened.

I'm not sure what happened after the court, Not sure if my friend went to jail or the 350Z guy did. Or if anything happened. I remember it well because I knew the girl and the Civic drive. I seen that civic several time too. It sucked.

They started to have meet up on friday night around rockville area again if anyone is interested

Just thought i would throw this on here just to see if any one was interested, every other Friday there is a large car meet near the micro center/trader joes in rockville. I know a few local mid-a members will be there
