Whoops forgot about the the front! It rubs the side maker on full lock and compression here and there. The front's are maxed out and the rear is about 14 turns up from the bottom.

Correction, I had it on the lift the other day, it rubs on the fender liner on the inside. This is with a 245/40/18 though. Most people run a 255 or 265 35/18

I really want to run these wheels but I was told that with my eibach sportline springs it wouldn't clear my stock strut. . And was also told that spacers would solve the problem.
Now the question is what size tires and spacers are needed to clear the front strut.
Please help me solve this. And u do like a little stretch. Thx

You can get 245 35 18 tires, slightly stretched but still very functional and also roughly same diameter as stock rims.

Also to clear strut you can use 3mm spacer. I used it on my volks 18x9.5 +40 and it cleared my strut.

+38 seems to be the recommended max offset for 9.5" width to clear front strut perch. So you'd need a spacer of 2mm or larger. You can get them in 3mm and 5mm. Anything more than that and you're losing too much thread on your studs.

As for tires, I don't know for sure. "A little stretch" means different things to different people. I would find which tires you like and see what the tread widths are for the various sizes, since they vary quite a bit between manufacturers.

Can some folks please confirm that this wheel in either +38 or +40 will fit on stock suspension (just Swift springs)? I'm curious to see if spacers are necessary and can run without too much poke or rubbing.

Looks like you need coils in order to fit these without spacers?


I've got a set of these on order in 17x7.5 +35 in silver. Looking forward to having a nice light wheel with some solid 225s on it for track days! :)


I'll probably be having them painted Hyper Silver, since that color is now sold out and discontinued. Expensive as hell to have them custom painted, but I've read a lot that you really don't want to powdercoat Enkei MAT formed wheels, as it compromises their strength.
