My fiance bought me a Sparco fire suit and my sister bought be fixed back seat mounts. That will probably be the extent of my car parts for Christmas.

However. DBA T2 rotors, ORECA fixed back racing seat, and a Logitech G920 were my black Friday/cyber Monday gifts to myself.

YES, a canteen cup (which the desert was put on the bottom, then the main course, topped with a biscuit - made sense, cause as you ate down through the chow, the desert was last.

YEP, a mermite can (which meant hot (well at least warm) chow - tasted good after eating "C" rations for a few days.

Back in the Army you used to make coffee in your helmet before preparing to storm the next trench though.

YIKES, gramicci101 ...... ya got it all wrong; you used your canteen cup to make the coffee and kept the helmet on your head ...... just in case the enemy stormed your trench before you could storm his trench ...... :eyebulge:

Nope. Ours said US. Lots of left overs from Vietnam and Canada shopped in the surplus stores for most of the 70s.

I'm with Tcoat on this point ....... just toss a few scoops of that in a coffee maker and punch the ON button.

Back in the old Army the mess cook would heat to boiling a 5 gal can of water from the water wagon, toss in a gallon of coffee grounds. let it boil for a minute or two, cut the heat and pour a couple of cups of cold water on top to settle the grounds.

Tasted good, if you had slept in a snow covered mummy bag, laying in a hole all night. ....:)

Mulling over getting an Apple TV. I watch content on my iPad all the time so don't know if it's worth it just to see it on the TV.
