I posted it elsewhere on the forum, but do you guys think a battery pack like from the Nissan eleaf would be a way to go? At 3.5 kw storage you'll have plenty of juice .

Yup they can provide some decent battery voltage. But you do have to make sure to add a BMS to them. Anyone herer still have this project active?
