Still, a caged car does NOT belong on the street so I hope for his sake that he doesn't drive a caged car around town.. one side impact and you will be dead. :(

To the best of my knowledge, his RX-8 isn't caged. I think he's looking at caging a FR-S/BRZ though.

Yep, that's why I was mentioning it. I used to be one of those idiots with a caged street car too.

Where you pulling 5.9% from?

The premium is going to be a REALLY hard sell if MT is correct (some of those specs do vary with the original reports, and vary against some of the test drives which claimed 18" wheels on the limited).

More money for basically the FR-S with HIDs and Navigation.. I'd venture a bet that very few people would buy that car.. you are paying thousands more (likely) for HIDs.. doesn't make sense, you can do FXR bixenon retrofits over a weekend for significantly less than that.. and most likely have far superior lighting..

Dave-ROR 12-02-2011 06:18 PM

According to that I was right on my brake guess earlier (one of the options), WRX front, Legacy GT rear rotors. And sadly, they are forcing me to the damn limited just for the seats.. 27k is going to be a very hard pill to swallow for this car. Make the nav optional and sell it for 25.5 instead and I'll put a deposit down tomorrow.

Someone doesn't understand how financing works...

Dave-ROR 12-02-2011 06:21 PM

Weight is now 2689 instead of 2770 on that MT site too.

Thinking about all the changing info from the same source.. uhmm.. yeah.

How much info have we seen come through magazines "from Subaru" or "from Toyota"? I don't recall much of the info being very accurate....

Wasn't it MT that had production pic of BRZ a few days before the release?

LionZoo 12-02-2011 06:30 PM

Motor Trend drove the 6MT Premium, but from the pictures it appears that even the Premium has heated seats: http://wot.motortrend.com/2013-subar...cs-142245.html

Yet their spec sheet says heated seats aren't on the Premium.

You aren't talking about me I hope? Subaru will probably offer 2.9% for the BRZ. You could go to a credit union and easily beat that at 1.9-2.0%.

Noob with banks.

You don't have to be a member of a credit union to get that amazing credit do you....?

It looks like all of these pictures are identical to the other magazines so I'm guessing they were provided by Subaru.

Yes but you need to fund account with at least $5.

60 months is 2.49% for new car.

Unless it's a special rate never finance through the manufacturers finance company. You can beat those rates at any credit union around.

Ahh.. I'll pay the extra .01% and use my normal credit union in that case :) 1.99 I would have considered switching :)

Always a good option. I'm trying to focus on dumping money into retirement accounts instead so I limit my car fun account to 720/month.. I like to keep about half of that for mods :P

No way 16" or even 15" rotors are fitting inside 17" wheels, not with calipers anyway. That's also ridiculously sized for a car of this weight and power, adding unnecessary un-sprung + rotational weight.

If I lived in BC, being able to legalize 32's and 33's would make up for it.

It is very important to point out that any kind of financing offers are based on multiple variables. So just because it says that apr is 0% or 1.99% or 2.99% does not mean that you will get that APR.

Your credit history, credit score, other variables may result in a high apr.
