It's not that we (the aftermarket companies) don't want to develop out the FA20, it's just that there's no time to do so. Developing out a brand new, non-turbo motor that nobody has really done work on before doesn't just take a few week, much less a few months. Especially not right before a race season, where success absolutely demands a proven powerplant that the engineers and track side mechanics will know inside and out like the back of their hands.

But race builds don't equal street builds. If we were allowed to develop out street builds with 114 octane as the minimum requirement, well now....

I got a fully built 500HP 2JZ w/ Supra's 6 speed in my IS300 just sitting here... if this goes well, maybe i'll swap the engine over to my 86

wow i really want to see the 2j in this car, yea it will make it a little nose heavy but who cares when you pushing 600hp+ just ask the guy with the integra in the video lol. that car looks hilarious how the hell can you even see over that big ass blower, im guessing he makes many bling right hand turn
