Are you sure? What about part #PTR20-18160-BK that seems to be the only wheel that comes on the 2.0?

Again, not doubting but only curious because I was thinking of getting a set of the Grey 17x7.5 TRD rims from the '17 86s for everyday driving.

In Canada the RS2.0 came equipped with the 7.5J wheel, PTR20-18160-BK. It was not an extra option.

So of the 17x7.5 TRD wheel is CS legal for the 86, you'd be able to run any 17x7.5 within offset parameters on any 86, being that they are a stand alone option?

The RS2.0 wheel is not available to those purchasing a standard model... even through the parts department, unless you can convince them you have an RS2.0 to put it on.

The TRD dealer option wheel is 18 7J +35 front and 18 7.5J +35 rear and has been available since 2014 at least. It hasn't been in play in previous years.

The option is available on 86's.

I think you're right. The basic specs online do not match up with what actual RS2.0 owners are reporting about their wheels. With production limited to only 1000 units, expect it to be moved to CS once the SAC hears about it! LOL!

Pretty much the end of discussion. He's a good driver. He still has room to improve with setup of the car, I talked with him on Sunday and he said he picked up time. Obviously he made the odd-ball pick for a car.

Not really. He's been pretty dominant so far at all of the local events he's been at. The closest anyone else got to him was his first event with the car.

Yeah, take SD results with a couple grains of salt. Garbage surface, fast course that is not necessarily autocross-ish, and the sloping site make for weird results that don't always transfer to other sites.

The most mind blowing thing to me about that car is the weight, I wouldn't be surprised if after a day of autox you could put one on the scales and it'd be <3,200 lbs after it sheds factory wheels, exhaust, and junk in the trunk.

Is pedal dance mode the only way to completely eliminate traction control?

I ran the car with traction control off and sport mode (hold for 3 seconds, etc) and still noticed that traction control would force its way back on.

It sounds like you're not actually turning off traction control, hold the left button 'off' for ~5s, two yellow lights will illuminate and that's it, don't press anything else.

It sounds like you're pressing the 'off' button which is meant for snow/dirt only and turns off over 30 mph and/or pressing sport mode which will either cancel the 5s press (if you're doing that first) or it's sport mode + single press 'off' depending on your procedure.

Don't press 'sport mode' (unless you've got an automatic, in which case read your manual, it'll be different than what I wrote).

I personally prefer pedal dance, but there are many who don't, it's worth experimenting with, but I wouldn't do it during an event, I blew many runs trying to adapt during competition and didn't really understand it until I had a free test and tune day and an open figure 8 skidpad.
