If I was going for raw performance it would never be in a car. Just drop $50k into tuning a Ducati Panigale and try not to drive it so fast that it ripped my torso off my body.

Favorite bikes are Ducati's, bar none.

In looking up Ducati's again though, it seems they've made one that competes with my V-Rod!

Ducati XDiavel

I still like the looks of my customized V-Rod better, but with the money I customized the V-Rod with, what could I have done with an XDiavel if they'd had it!

I know, two wheels, off topic. Sorry! :)

That just looks like stupid fun. Like either I'm going to get my neck broken, the truck's going to get broken, or both!

Now that Ducati has a version of my V-Rod, might be time to sell the FR-S after only a month (two weeks in the shop), and start an XDiavel build! Oregon's a great place for a custom motorcycle build, I learned that last time.

You're in the PNW. Check out Dirtfish.

You have NO idea how much I want to go to Dirtfish! I probably couldn't fit in their cars though :(

FNCrazy 08-05-2016 04:24 PM

I may be the very last to know, but Dirtfish uses the twins for RWD training! I can fit in one of those!!!

**edit** After seeing them, maybe I need to build my FR-S into a rally car instead of what everyone else's looks like!!!

FNCrazy 08-05-2016 07:42 PM

And more bad news, yes, they're BRZ's, but they're racing seats, so maybe I wouldn't fit. :( About 6 hours of driving to go check. Emailed first :)

What is this "sufficient" word you use?

The Atom 3S weighs 1300lbs (ours weighs what, 2700lbs-ish?), has 360HP instead of our 200. That's bordering on insanit..er...sufficient.

In 3S I'd have a 90% chance I kill myself within the first month. In the regular NA 230 hp only about 25%, that risk I'd take, I think ;).

Oh, have you seen the Rally Cross version called the Nomad??

Yup, impressive, though I am much more into driving on hard surfaces

There are so many amazing vehicles to choose from and I feel like my answer would change every time I was asked. I lust after supercars and the Pagani and Koenigsegg,g,g,g are up there, but per the rules this is a daily driver and the idea of a low slung supercar just won't hunt as a DD. I need ground clearance, a trunk and something I could maintain with vice grips and a hammer. It was my first love at the tender age of four and I keep coming back to it in some form or another. Really, any 68 Camaro would make me happy, but we are dreaming here so 427 big block with a "rockcrusher" four speed.
