No lie, they definitely upped their padding game.

^ Let's see them on feet.

My UNDFTD x PMW has better cushioning than the Chuck IIs. Nike purchased Converse in 2003, since then, the first pair of Chucks that I bought not made with the traditional Converse paper-thin insoles were the All-Star hi full suede uppers with gum soles.

And in 2009, the Poorman Weapons came out. Popularized by UNDFTD x PMW line-up, the One Star Skate Pro-Kenny Anderson and their other skate shoes also have the cushioned insole. So, the Chuck II to have it is nothing new.

I buy one kind. New Balance Cross Fit. I wear them out in a half year depending on how much running and hiking I do.

I wear New Balance 996. I think the sole on this model is the best of all NB lines for driving with the smooth grooves rather than the knobbly shape on the other models.

The tread ones aren't bad for driving unless they are brand new. I buy the tread ones because I do a lot of hiking and in the summer its to hot for boots. I like NB because they feel like they are not on your feet.

Dusted these out of the box for today's CA rainy day!

Those shoes are great for driving gangsta lean with an automatic but I would never wear them to drive stick shift.

NBs are amazingly comfy otherwise and I already have way too many.

@krayzie thanks I was looking for an honest opinion.

And that is a tasty collection of 996's, I need to expand my collection since I just mine a pair at a time until they're worn through.

They are actually all different from top to bottom, left to right; 1300, 997, 990, 576, 996, 1400, 998. That 100 year NB history book was sold to me from a past employee. They are made in the USA and the UK so at least I know first world factory workers have jobs.

I think 996 is actually one of if not the best selling model in Japan due to its lightness and comfort as a casual retro. I wear this the most.

For driving sneakers I wear a pair of Asics Budokan (exact same design as the ARD Vesper that Drift King wears just not as flashy looking as his).
