Not really a come race me bro thing, if anyone was the aggressor it was probably me.

There was a 2010 SS camaro hauling ass on the streets on the way to the university that I go to. And I just got my tune finished(JDL GTX2867R 10.5PSI) , this SS Camaro was not stock, he said he had headers and an intake. He also had those louvers or whatever its called on his rear windshield.

He was taking off hard af, and he flew by me, so then I went behind him at the next stop light and gave him a bit of space. The light turned green and I caught up to him quick af, but gave him enough space so I didn't rear end him, he saw how fast I was catching up to him and he switched lanes and rolled down his windows and we both looked at each other like "WASSUP MAN!!!!"

We met at the next stoplight and he asked me what I did to my car and I asked him what he did to his car, and long story short we met up on campus and parked near each other.


And that is how we met and became friends.......

I'm from LA....before the twins use to get harassed a lot but now the muscle and import guys know it's pretty slow lol car.

I've had one guy try to race me in my FRS and that was like a 2012 civic si.

he got beside me and matched my speed then smashed the gas when i didn't take the bait..
HE WAS GONE!! like a bat outta HELL!! (like half a football field gone)
I didn't chase him cause I figured the show was over, and my light modded stock 2.0 couldn't even try against that monster.... in a straight line.

Well further down the road. I pass him leisurely.

A silver 15-17 WRX tried to drag race me at a red light last night like an asshole. This guy pulled up beside me, didn't try to instigate a race or anything like that, but then as the green hit, peeled out with a bunch of tire squeal.. This is like the 4th time in 2 small months that people have tried to drag race me lol.

I don't know if it's my rear light silhouette that triggers people or what, 17 86 is so sexy.

Motorcycles are the worst. I get more motorcycles trying to race me more than any other car

A slammed late 90s Civic hatch with a fart can tried to race me from a stoplight. I told him I was turning right at the next light to get onto the highway and he said OK. Light turned green, I accelerated normally and I just hear him stall. I turned right and merged onto the tollway and move into the left lane and I hear his fart can come up behind me, pull onto the left shoulder to pass me (on an empty toll road), and then take the next exit to get off the tollway.

Goddamn 911 Turbo, a convertible too for that extra douche status behind me on the highway and both of us are stuck behind some slow cars. So I'm like I got you bruv, Ima overtake and we can go fast. So I do that and I'm doing pretty obscene speeds and this guy just zooms past me as if I'm standing still and proceeds to cut me off and stay right in front. We both ended up at our destination at the same time too, despite him taking the express. Like wtf, take your 540 AWD auto bs car and go race someone your own size. What am I gonna give you with my 162 whp??? Can't wait to put a supercharger with a small pulley on this bitch and give these bastards what for

I actually had the opposite once.

Pulled up at a light on my motorbike (just cruising casually in a residential neighbourhood). Some dude in a Porsche pulled next to me, starts giving me the look, and nodding his head.

So I thought cool, Let’s play.
Sat at the light revving and looking all race like... but when they went green I pulled off at a nice leisurely pace while he was all smoke and wheel spin.

The cars around me were laughing their asses off & so was I in my helmet.

Removed my clutch spring last night and took the car out for a spin to decide if i like it (spoiler: yes).

Came up to a stop light and this white WRX pulls up next to me. Young guy that obviously wants to race so i figure ill send him on his way and get back to my own buisiness. As the light turns green i give it a bit more throttle but accelerate normally. I look back and see he stalled at the light :bellyroll:. The DRLs on recent subarus turn off when you stall, so its pretty obvious. He starts his car up again and flys past me over a hill and out of my view easily doing 20 over. About half a mile later i see him on the side of the road with flashing red and blue lights behind him. Just not this guys day.

A pack of sport bikes came up behind me in traffic last night. They were doing the normal zipping back and forth in lanes as bikes often do and as usual, I was too.
Not cutting anybody off but just going much faster than the flow without interfering with others driving. One was doing a wheelie which is always fun to watch.
So I'm getting kind of ahead at "the game" since they are sort of staying together as a pack but I sense they know I'm keeping ahead. We come up to the next light
and one then jumps in close behind me one car back. I left pretty quick and he blasts past everybody catching up but not passing me. He kind of drops back when
speeds were pretty high up there. Then we get up to the next light and all the rest of the pack catches up. This time though they all just start splitting lanes almost
touching the mirrors of cars they're passing and severely cut off the few cars ahead of us and all rocket away. I was sort of egging them on but think I angered them
slightly and they had to show me who's the boss.

Only thing that keeps me from enjoying this car are these children that always think they must race.

I had CC on the way to work like I always do, and I just change lanes to pass those who are slower...and I guess I must have pissed off some kid in a WRX with his left headlight out. He tried passing me and nearly hit a car beside me as he tried to get in front of me. Traffic started to slow as we entered the tunnel and he zipped by, and once he got past, me he drove with his hazards on for the length of the tunnel and disappeared. I can't catch a break! When I drive the truck, people leave 10 car lengths in front of them and step on their brakes when the car a mile and a half in front of them step on theirs. When I drive the FRS, EVERYONE wants to race.

Maybe he was just late for work or simply drives like that all the time. Seems like it wasn't just you he was trying to get ahead of. No indication he was attempting to race you at all in that story.

That's a possibility, but it didn't seem like he was in a rush until I passed all the slower cars squatting in the fast lane. I try my best to woosa when people drive like that. Another one that really gets me is when people are texting and playing on their phones while driving 75mph+.

The odd racer boy is a doosh... but I still love driving my car. Letting someone else’s actions or behaviour affect your own ain’t no way to live.

I had a murdered out TL accelerate quickly from behind and change lanes to get next to me, only to match my speed for a few seconds before speeding off. He must have heard my exhaust and assumed I was driving aggressively. I just kept cruising along because I didn't feel like waking everyone up within a square mile at 7AM.

A WRX was slowly creeping up to me on a striaght. I moved over to let him pass. All the way over to far right lane hugging the inside of the turn. He let off the gas though on the outside while I was still accelerating on the inside of the turn, lol. He lost too much ground to regain it in the next straight before his exit. Too bad guy, better luck next time.

I'm going pretty fast on the highway in center lane of 3, and going faster than most cars around me. STILL had a guy in a big ass pickup closing up behind me, then he darted to the right lane to try and cut me but he had to slow down because a van that was going much slower than I was, was now in front of him. I cruise past and he's forced to lose 3 car spaces behind me.

Dumbasses...

That happens to me at least 3 times a day and does not mean they are racing you. It is just how some people drive and not really even note worthy.

Pretty much the same in my part of the world with the exception that when they get blocked by a slower car in their lane, they'll try to put their 30 foot fatassed truck into the 10 feet between the rear of the car in front of them and the front of your car as you slide by.

Never ever ever ever trust these fuckers. One of these days, I'll perfect my stealth BRZ mounted hell fire missile launcher. That is the only solution.

The fun part is that people make a big fuss about me driving a bright orange sports car and how much attention I must get from the police but about 95% of the vehicles passing me or pulling that sort of crap are grey or white pickup trucks and minivans. Most of the cars I see pulled over are those same trucks and vans.

My cousin got sideswiped by one of those guys. When I asked him who hit him he was like "those pick up drivers that dart in and out of lanes without indicating" lol. The guy didn't even have insurance!

300zx shows up behind me, out of no where. He was clearly tailgating me, so I did a pull right in front of him. He either gradually sped up or it just took him a good 3 seconds to catch up. Granted, this was my first week with JDL Turbo.

He finally catches up and he does a ricer fly-by to my right. Dodging and weaving past other cars. So I let him be.

I could have a 1000 HP GTR and have civic SI do that same shit. Regardless, even knowing I would have smoked him, I will never have some car drag me into mad recklessness.

BRZ vs Prius C

I was cruising in the middle lane(hwy) and needed to exit. No cars to my right, so i signal and start to creep over. The only car was a small car about 2 or 3 lengths SE of me. I notice the car starts to accelerate, so i speed up (slowly) in 6th gear. I look over and he continues to match my speed. It gets to the point where i look at my speedo and was going about 80(if i could recall...). The prius continues to maintain speed so i slow down to get behind him. He then slows down and tries to block me. I then have to pass in third and basically gun it because my exit is coming up. At that point i look like the @$$hole on the freeway because my car gets pretty loud in third. He follows me off the exit and is mouthing something at me, making aggressive body language that i can see through my rear-view. I turn on the display for my dash cam and he freaks out. Backs off and immediately takes the next turn. I know i sound like Michael Douglas from Falling Down, but trust me this was completely unwarranted.

I don't understand people...

Something loke tgat happened to me but in highway, when we approached the exit ramp i took out my hand and made a sign like *pass me*. Yeah he couldn't follow my pace

Had a dude in an ancient fast&furious 1 era civic si just now literally hound me down 400 and then across 401. We're talking stalker, driving 3 feet away from my door type of shit. Whatever I did, he repeated. Whenever I sped up to get away from his stupid bright HID lights, he would change lanes 14 times, weaving in and out of traffic to catch up. I wanted to get away but at the same time I didn't want to endanger anyone by enabling this guy. I was legit trapped lol. I enjoy a bit of cat and mouse but holy crap man, just trying to get home. Dude stalked me for good 20-25 km

Had to dodge one of these the other day. If I hadn't moved right over he would have sideswiped me. Good thing there was nobody in the other lane beside me.
