Same here. I tried him through text, email and phone, but no go. Hope he's enjoying some time off and everything is OK.

I actually talked to him today. He has been on vacation, and he just got back and is playing catchup.

Good to know!
I'll try him again in a couple days when he gets caught up.

Yep, he called me Friday. I thought maybe you had talked to him.

But, I just finished soldering my wire harness. I believe my batteries were dead. I tried to wire the system up, not installed, and see how it looked. Unless I had it wired wrong, then either my batteries are dead or something else is not working.

But I will take the harness into work tomorrow, and use a multimeter on it and check the connections. Hopefully, I am one step closer.

My original batteries(PC680 and big crank ETX) from my first ESC have been sitting now for about a year. I believe they are dead.

Does anyone know, if after get them recharged will they still function properly or would the safe bet be to purchase new ones. Yes i am aware I should have done more than let them sit in a corner. Oh well. But i do know i dont want to use batteries that would compromise the ESC functionality.

What type of charger do you have?

I dont have one yet. I was thinking about jumping the PC680 with it installed in my BRZ and use the truck for power. But, part of me is thinking just to get newer batteries. I heard there is a newer PC680, but i havent shopped yet. Luckily the batteries are not that big of an expense.

Head to wal mart and snag one of their chargers. Around 25 bucks and give the batteries a charge. If it works great... If not you have a charger.

Well that is a fact. I suppose that is the practical thing to do.

It looks like the harness is fine according to the multimeter.

Cool beans. I was worried about that.

So yeah. Just mess with batteries for a bit. But most likely they won't be at full potential.

@brzaapi

Good job. No need to have any doubts, right?

I have a Procede controller in the classifieds if anyone's in the market for one.

Also, I have a set of V1.5 batteries for free if anyone needs a set or wants it to do some experimenting. Local pickup in SoCal however due to the weight.

They've been sitting for ~2 months now, but worked great prior to that.
