Thanks for the pics Hatchi. Now all I need is pricing and options, then my day will be perfect.

I'd almost put HID in the "need" category. After having them on my car versus the regular halogen reflector headlights I never want to go back.

Hey I'm all for having them, don't get me wrong. Just getting annoyed with the Up in Arms people posting about HID's and Push-starts. It's just becoming a record player lately. |

Actually we still use Twitter. Google+ is good but Twitter is where its at when posting something quick while you are driving in your car. |

Thanks for the pics! Really hoping to hear pricing...
So I have a question.. Will it have push button start HIDs? :D |

I know HIDS should be standard on all cars..especially those that cost over $22k. They are not that expensive for the manufacturers to add...but the biXenon ones with the autoleveling are more expensive. You can get decent aftermarket conversion kits for less than $100 including the bulbs and ballast. http://www.hidxenonheadlights.com/ But this is basic HID stuff...not the awesome OEM stuff which is what I would want. But hey even the $100 PnP stuff is better than the stock halogens. |

Getting my gun now...lol. It's funny, my Z had everything (aside from push-start) that is mentioned here, and I would have preferred to have the Base model, if I were to buy another one. I had the Touring Ed. 350z. |

I think it all comes down to your needs for the car. For me, I just want it as a nice fun daily driver and am fine with the extra luxuries. I have a DE car and a race car, I don't need the FT86 variant (whichever I get) to be barebones. If I were building it as a DE car, or TT car, or race car I'd want it as base and cheap as possible. |

i dont want a conversion.. i like stock headlights, plus i love how stong they are, if i can get them at a later date ill be happy with that too and just sell the stock halogens |

You got ripped off. Its just a HID bulb. You can get good ones for like $40 a pair. HID bulbs are cheap to replace and they will last at least 3 to 4 years...maybe longer. On my 8 year old 350Z I have replaced them once. Cost me $45. It is kind of a biotch to replace the bulbs on a 350z though but it is doable. |
The car under the cover, could possibly be a stripped down 'track' model.

if they annouce the price today, do you think the car will be released/sold
in March then? My gut keeps telling me June for some reason, but I don't think they'd annouce the price 5 months ahead, my guessing is their strategy would be... 1) annouce price today (assuming their plans are already set in stone with options)--> sell in April or 2) show options today and get a feel for our reactions(see if we hate/love what they offer)-->annouce price in March--> sell in June |

HID's huh? I thought the FR-S wasn't coming with HID's... or is this another option? Forgive my ignorance but I've never owned or built anything from scion. |
