Your a lucky begger! Im not due my GT86 until 2nd August and I ordered in December. Toyota on facebook have seemed to have changed their attitude from deliveries start in July to deliveries start in late summer!

Car now with the transport company apparently so should be at the dealers on Monday.

I'll get some pre delivery photos then and post them up.

Have had a few new Scoobies over the years so that may explain the nice delivery slot:D

Not happy bunnies here in yorkshire - our dealer who we have had the car ordered with since december has said it wont be ready till mid till late september. The reason give was all the options we picked which were - dark grey metallic / sat nav / cloth seats with red trim which come with the red steer wheel etc. To be honest if it doesnt come on these dates or earlier we might as well wait until after the winter.

Cloth seat? Heated (half leather) Alcantara you mean?

Mine is due late August (also ordered dec) but have told the garage I'll not be picking it up/want it registered for sept 1st instead .. No point in buying a brand new car that will be on an old plate a week later.

Mine is Ordered with:
heated Alcantara (black/black - just red stitching no red flashes on seats or wheel. White. Automatic. And touch and go sat nav as well. (All boxes ticked)

The order was cloth seats not heated but with the red flash on the corners, red steer wheel etc. / sat nav / metallic paint. Not exactly a massive spec change. Wife not very happy wouldn't like to be in dealers shoes!! I agree on your comment for the 1st sept but to be honest I'm not happy as any further delay puts it into October - not much point with winter looming after that!!

SL, nice photo's man... I'm buying a house (my first one) this year, so I thought it sensible to hold off putting any money down on a GT until I know for sure what my monthly out goings will be! But it looks like I can considering purchasing early next year... we'll have to organise a Bristol meet ;)

Just had a call from my Toyota sales guy. No news on my car but a GT86 demo car got delivered there unexpectedly this morning (they were expecting a Yaris Hybrid and got a black GT86!).

He's at Donnington tomorrow but booked me in for a spin on Wednesday.

their demo is in red, and a black showroom model arriving sometime after.. really liking the black.. but have always found them a pain to keep looking clean!

Nearest subaru dealer is again north wales but i think i prefer the GT86 to the BRZ

I've just called my local dealer (Inchcape nottingham), and they don't have one in their showrooms yet. That and they can't give me an ETA as to when they will have one.

Was in Rotherham with work today. Nipped into Pentagon Toyota for a peek on the way home. Arrived to see a Hot Orange GT just leaving with a service guy at the wheel. Looked nice. :D

Just been to RMB Toyota Teesside and they have a burnt orange GT86 with leather and auto gear box. I was allowed to sit in it but not allowed to drive it until after the official launch on the 1st July. OMG it was a thing of beauty :)

I'm glad you say that cos I've just put down a deposit on an Orange 6MT GT86, without even seeing one. Arrival date 25th July :)

I ordered a Red 6MT, with Black/Red Leather and Sat Nav on December 2nd and they have giving me an ETA of 20-26th September.

I am furiours. I have written to Toyota to complain.

From what I heard it all depends on your spec. I think my quick ETA is because I've ordered pretty much a stock car: official orange paint, standard interior and manual. Your spec is a bit rarer, I guess, especially the red interior, so I've heard anyway...

The dealer mentioned they have had delays with cars order with the sat nav....

Very annoying. Lets hope they are not too common to quickly!

Was looking forward to my test drive today but got a call this morning to say they aren't going to register their demo until 1st July so I could come and look but not drive. :mad0260:

Still no delivery dates for me other than "sometime in July". (ordered February)

Dealer did mention they only had an allocation of 6 GT's for this year (sold 3).

Not sure if the stories of Sat Nav spec'd cars being delayed is true. Although I didn't play with the Toyota Touch the dealer said it was a fully spec'd car with Sat Nav (certainly had metallic and leather).

No it a new touch and go system by Karman Harman... supposed to be very good...

On both brands, spec / colour choices can mean vastly different delivery timescales.

For those considering premium ICE, remember there is quite a lot of cabin noise at times.

Can't sleep as so excited

Test drove the auto GT86 last night at RMB Teesside. Burnt Orange with leather. I love the car, everything feels like it has had some thought put into it and as an engineer this sits really well with my OCD lol. My ogripes are the centre console cup holder thing is CRAP and I dont like the auto gear box. They are getting a manual shortly so I will go and test that too.
