Looks like a dealership has put up one of those cringeworthy robot videos for the Heritage Blue BRZ. I absolutely cannot stand these videos, but make exception this one time because it shows off the color in sunlight on the car, which is something I've really wanted to see. Low resolution aside, the color looks pretty nice with the lines of the car. My current ETA is the 30th, so I'm possibly looking at delivery within the next ten days or so. |

Thanks for sharing! I'm still fairly new to the Reddit forest, so I probably never would have seen those. The color looks great!

If anyone has a lead on a manual ts sitting on a dealer lot please let me know. All the dealers locally can only find 50th anniversary editions.
Thanks. |

Thanks.

Just picked up my 50th Anniversary edition the other day. I was looking for a regular '18 manual PP model, but I fell in love with this color.

there's several Ts down in Houston tx, and two down here in south texas...they've been on the lot for quite some time. Guessing no one's buying since they're going at full msrp or markup when you can buy an STi or Type R for the same price...

I was just at Mastro Subaru in Tampa, FL getting some service completed, they have a white BRZ Ts & a 50th Anniversary edition available. Both selling for sticker.

My 50th came in a few days ago to the dealership, and I picked it up yesterday!
https://i.imgur.com/e2fF4BY.jpg https://i.imgur.com/2a6FuA2.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HTicFwA.jpg My visit to the dealership was also the first time I got to see the color in person. It is definitely something to check out if you have the chance. The color is very deceptive. The color has such a wide range; the last factory color that reminds me of this phenomenon is Plasma Blue Pearl. It goes to a near-pastel look in sunlight which looks really great, and in certain lighting (parking garage) you have to really look to even realize the car is blue (I don't have a good picture, but the car can pass off as grey in certain low light). I'm digging it, the car definitely stands out in a different way. Edit: One thing to note... Subaru doesn't make note of this in any way and it's hard to tell, but the 50th wheels are indeed different from a regular PP in regards to color. This bothered me at the beginning, seeing as how the other models were getting special silver finishes for the wheels while the BRZ was left out. However, I was showing the car to my cousin and his girlfriend last night and comparing it to her Pure Red PP. While not "Satin Chrome," the 50th wheels are of a lighter finish. It's odd that even on the window sticker the wheels are called the same thing. I'm happy with this, though. |
I just passed 500 miles on my new 50th anniversary edition. Yes this is my second BRZ. First was a ‘13 limited. Been through a bunch of fun with that one. But now I have a very unique version. Only 250 delivered to the US market.
Yes I like the unique wheels too but damn the dust level of the stock brembo pads. Gonna have to change those out soon. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8aa9d42bd4.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7a73ddeaab.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fc32640785.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Congrats on the car! We seem to have done the same thing, to a degree (my first was a '13 Limited; no longer have it, though).
I'm testing my dealership memory... You got it from Plano? |

Yup. I work just down the road from SoP, but have picked up my last few Subarus from Sewell. Perhaps I'll see you on the road someday! |
Excitied to be part of the club
Just picked up my 50th anniversary last week in the Richmond area. Drove it all the way back to Alabama. Its beautiful and a pure joy to own. Gets a lot of head turns from people. Something about that blue with the red brakes is just magical.

Late to the party
I think I bought the last new 50th anniversary BRZ a couple weeks ago. It had been sitting on a lot in SLC for a while. The day I sold my cobra I called the dealer and made an offer, followed shortly by a deposit. The next weekend I flew out from Texas (my dad flew out from Chicago to meet me) and drove through Moab and monument valley to get it home.
It was an unforgettable drive. Nice to hang out one on one with my dad for a while, the scenery was exquisite, and the car was wonderful even if it isn’t the best highway ride. This car is so enjoyable in the city, I’m very pleased with it. It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. The color is fantastic and the interior is very much to my taste. Here is a photo on US 128, a road I can heartily recommend. http://imgur.com/K6FlQPc |
