I guess it may seem a bit off if you don't like the look of an aftermarket single exhaust leaving a gap to one side of the stock rear of a car. But there are ways around it. there is nothing wrong with going from a dual to a single, as long as it's done right.

The thing is it looks wierd when the bumper is cut for 2 exhaust mufflers and you replace it with one muffler. It will only look "good" if you did what the STi did and put a tow-hook there.
