With the exception of the one in Spanish,those are all salvage titled cars,which are ALWAYS cheaper in price.

Now try looking for them with clean titles that actually have the accurate name of the car to go along with the pictures.

p.s.,if you hand over $10k~$15k to any stranger for a car with a salvage title,you need to have head examined.

I see you @evostanman. You can't hide from the Evo crowd. Don't do it. You will regret it.

My advice if you want to keep the Evo...

Refinance the Evo at a credit union for another 5 years with less than 3% interest. Shouldn't be too difficult if your Evo is relatively new. You'll end up paying a little more in total interest, but it should lower your monthly payment significantly.

If your current lender won't refinance, find a credit union that will do a used car loan. They will pay off your original loan.

If you're OK losing the Evo and have some equity in it (you can sell the car for more than what you owe), sell the Evo and use the money leftover to buy a $3k Civic/Corolla/Camry/Accord. I wouldn't sell the Evo if you owe more than what you can sell it for unless you have some money you just want to throw away just to get rid of the car.

Once you're financially stable, then you can buy another Evo/FRS/whatever.

So what did you end up doing? If it were me, I would keep the evo. They are getting to be rare cars seen on the freeway. You have already adjusted your lifestyle for the car, 2 more years will go by quick.

I foresee you picking up the FRS then spending a large amount of money to get it to your liking then breaking out even.

Good because from the looks of it if you were to trade it you would be rolling negative equity (I may be wrong) but negative equity in a trade is never a good thing.

The advice I give to anyone about a new or nearly new car is to make sure you like it stock. If you start factoring costs of body kits, coilovers, wheels and forced induction you are looking at a total different price range of cars. At that range I would be looking at a used a Cayman S, Focus RS, or a C6 Corvette.

I think a lot of the people that like to mod cars do so for reasons other than not liking how stock is.

Agree with this. I mean if you like modding then by all means have fun with the car and make it your own. Just don't complain when you lose all that money on resale, have reliability issues, and still can't beat a vette. Anything past simple bolt ons i'll just save up and use for a down payment on the next car.

Many are done simply to try and impress others just look at how many people on here ask what they should do. They don't ask how they should do it.
" I want to make my car unique and all my own. What mods do you recommend?"

Or a house! (At least in my case..) :D
