What'd you get just a matte black spray? I'm really considering this now, I'm mostly waiting for the STi style lip though, that's the one I've been eyeing for the longest time. I'm deciding to buy springs or these first lol or if I should even buy a lip since I might be scraping on everything with a 1" drop.

I used plastidip with 4 coats.
Do you mean you're waiting for an STi replica lip? Because that's the lip I have on the front.

Oh plastidip, aren't you afraid you gotta respray it later? Yea the STi replica lip, from what I know they don't have any yet. Are you sure yours isn't the CS style one?

I plastidipped the lip on my STi and it still looks great 3 years later.

This is the lip I have.

You're right that is very similar to the STi one. I'm surprise your plastidip lasts so long. I hear so many people saying it lasts about 6 months until it starts to peel.

I thought that was the lip you had.

That bolt in the rear wheel well, is that into the steel or into the fenderwell plastic?

It's a metal clip. Speed nut or whatever it's called.

Ah, so it sandwiches the sheet metal but doesn't require drilling, right?

Could you post some full vehicle photos too? Thanks

By any chance, could you measure something for me?

I'm curious to know how much of the front bumper "lip" the add-on lip covers. Specifically, at one of the corners of the bumper, where the add-on lip starts to curve up into the fin shape...how far from the lip to the first crease in the bumper?

I have a boo-boo that I want to hide...

The finish with plasti-dip looks great. Thanks for all the pics. I'm leaning towards doing a color-match, at least partially. And yeah, if I go that route, I'll also fix the blemish.

I've only seen one pic and it was a racecar with vinyl all over it, so it wasn't really "paint matched" just covered the same as the body. I saved a few pics recently and am going to try to photoshop them WRB.

K, this isn't perfect, but I didn't spend much time. Just picked a color off the car and did a color layer over the top. Spats look a little dark, but you get the idea. I'm digging it, although I have some changes in mind when I actually get a set.

Anyone looking for the complete STi kit and can't wait for BaysonR to restock.

Rexpeed has the complete package in Carbon for those that are interested. More expensive than the BaysonR stuff, but a lot cheaper than the genuine STi parts from JP and is CF
