Been riding with no front plate for months in SoCal...but im waiting on my custom plates to come in then i will Rock it...4 more weeks i think..lol

What's wrong with conformity these days. It's not like you'll gain additional power not having one.

We're supposed to have them in my state - I've lived here 8 years, never had one on any car. Funny thing is, I never got pulled over for it until I got my FR-S. (like two weeks after purchase) I just got the "verbal warning."

I think for the most part it's just another excuse for cops to pull over people they consider shady (punk kids, minorities, etc) and see if they can bust them for something more significant.

In my case, I live in a one stop light town and I think the cop didn't recognize me or the car and wanted to see what's what. Pretty sure now that he knows, i won't be bothered again. (State Troopers might be another story)
