Was going to say if you ever scratch your bumper with a black car you will be glad you chose black.
IMHO it's the sharpest colour in almost every vehicle. If you are lazy it is not the right choice.
BTW most people only really notice the swirls on their own vehicles. Sadly, never washing your car is probably the best way to reduce swirls.

Once you have had black you don't go back.... because you are so tired of washing it all the time. My wife had a black MR2 when met her many moons ago, and as a DD it was always dirty and showed it.

Red paint costs more than other colors due to the pigments needed to create the color. Therefore red repaints usually cost more.

The color of the car matters. A lot of that heat transfers to the inside via conduction. I know they tested it on Mythbusters some time back as well.

Let us not kid ourselves fellers. It is not the color that attracts the cops, it is what you are doing and to a further extent the type of vehicle -SUV, sedan, sports car, pick-me-up, crossover, and how many infant seats one has in the back seat (cops, many times, act favorably to this type situation)..

Black looks best but is horrific to keep clean and free from showing every damn scratch and nick!

Silver and Red are easiest to keep clean!

I'd agree that silver is fantastic for hiding dirt but on the twins it just makes the car look SO boring...silver has been done to death over the last 10 years, it's totally played out, no more please.

I agree with that and if the undercoat is silver (which is usually is) you don't notice the rock chips either. I have black...it looks dirty when it's dirty...even dirty when it catches the sun the metallic flecks make it look like it's glowing...makes it worth the dirty days.

The stains are horrible, if you quick detail a small part of the car you have to do the whole thing because of the difference.

My main problem with silver paint is that it looks 'good' all the time. Spending hours detailing it doesn't provide you much return on your investment because it never looks 'great'. Black is the exact opposite in this regard.

I used to hate white on cars because it had no depth. Newer white cars can have a pretty deep look to them, so they get a pass in my book.

I like reading and hearing about how DGM is great between white and black. I said to myself if i had a chance to order my own brz i would of picked black or white. Getting stuck with DGM as my choice i feel a lot better.
