Holy crap man you got lucky! One of my friend got wreckless ticket for over one grand and was banned from driving on VA roads for a certain time period (1 yr i think it was). VA is not a place you wanna get a ticket.

I've been pulled over only once in the FRS...

I was at a stop light turning left (double left turn lanes) and there was a cop next to me...it was undercover and I thought it was just a regular cop car that other people buy and make look like cop cars with the spot light and all.

Anyways as the light turns green to turn we start as normal but i just keep accelerating and he keeps up with me. Didnt think anything of it. And sure enough he drops back gets behind me and pulls me over. He just comes up to the car nicely and asks if i knew why he pulled me over. obviously speeding but im not going to admit to that so i say exhaust. He chuckles and says no he asks if i knew the speedlimit and how fast i was going. I state the limit and then proceed to say no. He said you were going about 60 because i was staying with you the entire time. He doesnt take any id or anything and just said slow it down and have a nice day.

It was an older black cop and in a bow tie. Nicest cop i have ever encountered.

wow more like he got unlucky

2nd time i had a wreckless in VA (one was a while back though like 07)

In the summer of 2008 I bought a 2009 vehicle. Within a month of buying it I got it tinted. No trouble with the tint in the 5 years I've had it.
Never had to remove it and I don't believe they are actually allowed to scrap it off. I got a quote for my FRS, all the windows tinted is ~250$

I wanna get my windows tinted too, its either 20% or 35% just to stay in safe zone....

that's actually why i'm getting the tint done by the dealer. that way i don't have to worry about it

You are going to over pay way too much. The dealer I went to just out sources to a tint shop just down the road. I went to the same tint shop and got quoted $75 less than what the dealer was asking. Same tint and everything.

Tint is Tint when it comes to percentage. Quality and workmanship is what comes in to play when selecting a place.

i probably WOULD be over paying, however the dealership agreed to drop $500 from the price. plus i'm getting $8603 for the mini. so i'm not too worried about the price
