Oh I know you're right... Probably a sticker package, but dang if I can't hope.

That being said, an ivory with the old Toyota red/orange/yellow racing stripes would be pretty sweet.

Or a cool two-tone paint job could work too.

Well to make it optional at any rate. All the cars shipped with the stripes but the dealers left it up to the buyer if they wanted them put on or not. Don't think many took them up on it but I did see one on the highway in Mississauga with them on.

Not a US visitor in that one?

I dont think i ever saw a Canadian spec one with those stripes...

Then again i dont think i ever saw a TRD special edition in person....just on autotrader listings, youtube or canadian car reviewers.

Nope Ontario plates.

People who spend extra money on TRD cars need a mental health check. TRD is literally a bunch of paint, stickers and other random nonsense that, more often than not, looks ultra tacky.

- 86 with TRD crap on it was gross
- TRD Camry was/is super cringe
- Heck, even the TRD trucks aren't that great (you can get the same parts - skid plates, Fox shocks, 4wd lockers - in the aftermarket which are likely cheaper and perform to a similar standard)

TRD is very much of the time, a trim package. Just like SS and R/T. But if you dig through the TRD catalog, its full of amazing products. Toyota doesnt like people messing with their engine reliability, But there are TRD Superchargers for the Tacoma, 86, and Tundra. As well as much beefier off-road suspension options. TRD on the showroom is a half step to a full upgrade package.

The only addition I absolutely hated was the stickers. The additions I cared about were the brakes, dampers and wheels/tires. I didn't love or hate the body kit although I prefer the spoiler to the one I have. I never would have paid as much more for it as they were asking over premium, but when I bought my 2020 WRB BRZ in August of 2020, there were several sitting around on dealer lots WELL under sticker. I considered them but decided I really didn't want black. And I DEFINITELY would have removed the stickers.

Any official news will not come out for several months yet. They will not give info on the next model year until they are done selling the current one.

Couldn't ask for more. I don't jive with any particular 2022 color. Thanks Rustyoid

Umm isn’t 10th Anniversary is in 2022? Because it was first released on 2012 in Japan and some other parts of the world (Australia/New Zealand) too.

Yes. I bought mine in May 2012 as a 2013 model year car.
