I owned a white car previously. It looked nice when it was clean and it's the same story for a black car.

I like the phantom grey on my XRS because the dirt and grime have a harder time showing up then most colours. IMO it's a stealthier colour then silver, in fact I sometimes wonder if my car is partly invisible because of the crap people pull around me.

If I were to buy one new it be magnetic grey, but I wouldn't be searching out for a certain colour used.

I generally like deep dark colors because they look much better when polished.

White for me for a few reasons
1. I live in Arizona where it's 114 degrees in the summer. White is cooler.
2. It really doesn't show the dirt nearly as much as dark colors.
3. White is a very popular color in Arizona for the above reasons and hence it's common and doesn't attract as much attention from the cops. If you are screwing around and you don't see the cop before he is close enough to see your white car is different than the other white cars you're in trouble anyway.

That's for sure. True statements.

I still can't bring myself to get a color everyone else has though. Maybe not a color that stands out, but at least not one that everyone else has...

Then again, the other day I saw a really pretty white Corolla. The paint was detailed and polished in great condition. I could tell.

Maybe I would get a white and polish it out. It would then surely stand out because most people with white cars never take care of them because they figure "HEY IT'S WHITE NO ONE WILL NOTICE AS MUCH"

Around here if you want to blend in its SILVER!!! AHHHH!! Everywhere, every car is silver!! The monotony of color on the roads in mind numbing!

My bronze rims will be my tribute to individuality.

White or black. I used to abhor white cars, and then I bought a white 00 Celica GT-S, the only one I could find in a wide radius, and it grew on me a lot. When my wife and I were car shopping while we were expecting, neither of us wanted to buy white. We came across a great deal on an 07 Camry that was white. Too good of a deal to pass up, and once again the color has grown on us.

Leaning towards black, which is wonderful when clean, but I've been there and it's a part time job. If they offer a pearl white, that'll make my decision even harder.

I wish they would make a dark gunmetal gray. Then Id put some black wheels on it.

In GT5 my FT-86 is currently Corvette Grand Sport Admiral Blue. I've historically owned more blue cars than other colors and I'm a fan, but it would have to be just right for me to go blue again on the FR-S. The Candy Red on the FR-S concept is very nice and really sexy, but if they don't offer something like that and there's a nice pearl white I might go for that. Something like a sparkling graphite would be about as exciting as a "blending in" color would be and I might dig that too.

Long story short; I'm going to wait to see the palette choices before making a decision.
