Having the lower portion of the bumper painted black makes the MY17 86 front look 100% better too.

These cars are racing in the TMG GT86 cup, so probably standardized wheels (guessing) which would mean these OZ racing wheels.

Well, thanks.

Any other official information for the 2018s? I'm seeing 6 different model codes, so it looks like we will be getting trims at least. If it mirrors Subaru, that would mean performance package, too.

I sure hope so.

Saw the same thing. 6 trim models (3 trims across 2 transmissions). Hot lava is gone. Thunder is pretty official.

So two trim levels and a special edition are likely.

About 99% sure its going to be 3 trim levels + special edition coming later. Most likely just like Japan, so base, GT, or GT Limited.

Yellow is now very popular among men, according to this research.

"The company analyzed more than 700,000 consumer car inquiries on iSeeCars.com and close to 30 million car sales to identify car color preferences by gender.

Although previous data showed men have a stronger preference than women for brighter car colors, men’s preference for yellow cars increased 63.8 percent and their preference for orange cars increased 41.7 percent since last year."

Of course, preference for orange* did increase. I attribute the growth of yellow to the Mustang and Camaro.

* It just occured to me that Solar Orange is Orange, and the 860 has it. So it makes sense that they would do an orange S/E and add yellow. Although, ditching Hot Lava is an interesting choice. Perhaps it has more to do with the type of orange, as Hot Lava is more of a burnt color.

Damn, the 86 is already expensive for the base. How much would a 86 with a performance package be? Surely around 31k?

My system traditionally calls out special editions as special editions. These all look like normal trims.

Same. I'm just seeing three trim levels, with 6 overall unique vehicle codes. Before this, FRS only had 2.

If I was a betting man, I would say no brembo/sachs pacakge but rather base 86 (same as current), GT (add push button start/proximity key/ dual zone), GT Limited (add heated leather seats and rear spoiler).
