Im currently running 8/6 on my silvia, pretty much same weight as an 86. Their a bit too firm for street although i have a rb34det and a gtx4294r hanging off it so its got a fair bit of weight up front, for you id probably recommend running maybe 6/5, you can always adjust the dampening settings

Quick question:

Does the GTS boot lid have the fabric liner? I just noticed last night the GT doesn't :(

I reckon the BBS/Porsche GT3 wheels on you Boxter would look good on your GTS. I am after a set of wheels that look the same.

Spring rates is always an interesting topic... Traditionally Japanese coilovers for most cars have 2kg difference front to rear. Not always, but usually. Ie 8/6 6/4, 12/10, etc..
I personally wouldn't go stiff there 6kg front or rear on this car. The 6/5 is a pretty good idea. A few kits also seem to be 5/5. Which would be good.
The thing to remember though is that this car has 10% stiffer REAR springs than the front. ie 3/3.3kg. So if you want to keep similar handling characteristics to stock, maybe go something like 5/5.5. That's what I was hoping for :)
