If I'm leaving one hose to atmosphere do I need to install the 3/8" NPT to 1/2" hose adapter on the AOS? I'm thinking no. If not I'm all set.

Looks good. Correct, if you're venting to atmosphere, you don't need to install that adapter into the AOS.

I really like what velox brought to the table. 1 question though, on my home brewed setup i have all 3 locations going to be catch can but my vent to atmostphere goes to a 1/2 hose thats routed under my car and dumps out past my transmission. Will this be a problem with the AOS? I hate... smelling gas with the AC. The hose under the car fixed it real quick.

Im also thinking of making a charcoal canister thats installed in between that vent to atmosphere port and earth. My jeep has 1 and it gave me ideas!

Velox products look way more polished than my setup so im considering highly.

Where is the 3rd location coming from? From factory, the engine has two vents, I'm not sure where you're grabbing the 3rd from.

Thanks,
Eric

Added a hose the ran down by the front sway bar for my vent to atmosphere. Definitely cut down on the cabin smell.

Just ordered mine today. Will probably be a bit before I install it, but excited to support a small business and what looks to be a great product!

Here are the install instructions for anyone interested: Install Manual

Any questions, feel free to ask here or e-mail us so that we can expand and improve on them. Some questions likely will be present until you actually start installing the unit(s) though, so keep that in mind as well.

Thanks,
Eric

Do you have more detailed pictures of where the 2 hoses route towards the driver side of the engine bay, i've looked at the install manual, but the pics are top shots only.

Adding some more pics because I was getting questions.

This is the VOS with a JRSC setup.

First one shows you entire view. Hose 2 (from left to right in this pic) is the one vented to atmosphere. It goes under the car by the transmission. Hose 3 connects to the intake after the air filter and before supercharger. Hose 4 is down by the yellow oil fill cap. The rest of the pics focus on hose 4.

My pointer finger is touching hose 4

Hose 4 is the one that is rerouted from the passenger side of the car per the JRSC install instructions. Its the one farthest away to the right of the yellow can and below the hose in the foreground. It has a 90 connector on it, so it can ran back behind the AC.

In this pic you'll see a hose almost in the middle with a metal hose clamp. The hose 4 is right below it. It connects to the motor and does a 90 and runs straight down (this is towards the outside of the car on the passenger side. It then L's around and has a 4" or so before the 90 I was referring to the previous pic.

Is it possible to just hook up the PCV side for the time being since I'm NA and run the other 2 lines later when I go boost? Or would I still have to hook up the side to the crankcase?

I'd recommend running it in NA configuration or capping the two other hoses then.

I'm not sure what everyone is attempting to do with each install which makes answering these questions difficult. Overall the install is quite simple if you follow along with the install manual and not overthink it. Most people that have issues are glossing over the install manual or trying something they shouldn't :).

Thanks,
Eric

I don't have the Velox AOS but hooking up the crank case is super easy. Really no reason not to

Is it better to use teflon tape or thread lock on the drain back kit from the cam plate to the stubby drain piece?

Install manual states/shows using just an O-ring (supplied with drain back kit) :party0030: . The bung is a -6 ORB (O Ring Boss) and using Teflon or thread lock is not suggested.

Thanks,
Eric
