Welcome!
Were you out last night? I think I might have seen you on Naperville rd.

Well, I just joined the club! I'm a proud owner of a MT WRB Limited BRZ:thumbup:

I've been taking it easy since I'm in the break-in period obviously, plus it is my first DD manual transmission. But I haven't stalled it yet and I've found shifting into 2nd has been rather smooth despite what a few threads on here have said and my nub-ness. I have a feeling once I hit 1k I'll have the transmission down and I'll be ready for the auto-x leaderboards! Watch out!

^ where you at the jdmc event tonight? I saw a few wrb brzs, including one with a female, who I advised to join the forum

No, I'm just another dude, sorry to disappoint haha. I haven't been to any events yet either, but I plan on it eventually. Hopefully she'll turn up, these forums have been really helpful and there seems to be a good local community.

I wonder how many brz/frs owners there are in the Chicago area. Any ideas?

At the last big meet there were about 30 of us. I would guess about 3x that. Not everyone could make it, and not every owner is on the forum.

Well this morning i reset my ecu correctly apparently... i unplugged the battery,
turned the lights on(obviously nothing happened) Waited 15 minutes and plugged
her back in. Got in went for a drive...for the first few minutes the car was terribly slow
but after a while the difference is night and day especially on the low end... Torque
dip is damn near gone....This guy is a really happy camper =D

Haha yeah I saw her as she was rolling out - pretty cool! Seemed like a good handful of FRS/BRZ's made it to the meet. Made me wish I could drive two cars at once.
