By the way, how comes that OTS or Wayno's ROMs are not based on A02G?

What are the differences between A01G and A02G anyway? I tried searching for that but didn't find anything.

A02G and A02I were only released in australia i think, they were another attempted idle stablilty fix with air conditioner switching. not much in it rearly.

looks like just changes to undefined tables.

the tables in A01G and A02G are same so you can just copy across all the tuned tables to an A02G it you want to.

OFT guys get a bit "lazy" and its less work for them to just alter the calid than make up a whole new series of roms.

I run an A02G rom but i dont think theirs any real advantage.

We have now found that you can put A01G roms even in the latest 2016 cars with F20P or F10G roms and they run fine. The reason people did this was for logging with Tactrix.

Yes you can flash B01C roms to A01C cars, B01C is latest factory base map for those cars

So just load up the B01C rom and flash it even tho he still has his stock A01C rom?

Yes the A01C rom is outdated their is a toyota/subaru TSB out to update all cars earlier than B01C to the B01C rom.

ie 700C,900C,A00C,A01C,B00C should all be updated to a base B01C rom.

If when i read his ecu the a01c came up that means that toyota or subaru didnt update his car right? So his ecu is okay to take the b01c rom even tho it was never updated?

try here

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83945

luckly your in germany and use same rom calid as australia so you can use those thunes attached to post.

if the original oft tune had lc\ffs patch then so will wayneo,s tunes they started off as oft tunes

only roms up to A01G have lc\ffs patch after that no lc\ffs patches on roms like D00G

those patches only for manuals.

guys have flashed A01G to newer cars with D00G or F20P rom and all seems fine but do so at own risk

dont try to put newer roms like D00G in older cars you will get problems

Yes A01C should be updated, dealers dont do it inless you winge bleat and complain about idle problems or get the cam issues, but best to update older roms to B01C

Finaly flashed waynos tune successfully :D

Also done a 4.gear wot but ecu not fully learned.

I have some issues with the logging trigger,

I Can't get the defogger trigger working.

Maybe problem with the customer Klima options?

Also I noticed some "noises" around 3000-4000rpm?
I thought I read about it but can't find the tread anymore

Triggers are unreliable.

Best to remove all trigger lines from logcfg.txt file.

logging will auto start when ignition on and stop when off

If your running EL header cam timing you will get intake rasp noise arround 4000 due aggressive cam timing

Yes, im running Stock El without Cat.

I choose the stage 2 98 map from wayno.

Afr Looks good without any Modifikation.

Something other to observe besides the maf scaling and knock?

not rearly if knock free (less than -1 corrections occasionally) and AFR follows commanded afr and low ltft. Then pretty sorted

Cam timing adjustments you rearly need dyno time.

It's easier just to post the log-link instead of a picture:

http://datazap.me/u/ralle109/log-147...zoom=4526-4800

Your LTFT are 0 above 5000 rpm. I would guess you made this log immediately after flashing.

As long as the ECU didn't have time to learn the LTFT you can't really say anything about AFR, as it will change (might be a significant change) once it starts learning the trims. Let it learn for at least 200 km (better 3-400) then make a new log.
