Supposedly I'm #10 on the Irvine Group buy, so not sure how this is gonna translate in terms of my getting the car in May/June. Did anyone else get an email like this?

I haven't received any email from Subaru, other than my confirmation email regarding my pre-order.

I would definitely like to know more about how each dealership will receive BRZs as they come into the States.

Irvine is getting 35 cars according to the allocation thread, which means you'll get it june/early july, no chance at all of May.

Dammmmnnn that's hella late! My car's getting older and older as we speak lol. And the longer I wait, the longer I actually wanna just keep this car haha.

Still no confirmation FAX, was told i am 15/15 and that my pre-order was in. Bank does not show the $1000 was taken out if my account so i will go there this weekend and verify. :iono:

*Update: Called again today. I was told my order is in but the sales associate i talked to does not know anything else. I asked why i have not been sent a confirmation letter with the guarantee of MSRP and he told me "oh i forgot to do it, 'he' should send it to you soon enough". I don't really know what to think about this.

Where'd you get this info from? Also has it been confirmed that orders will be fulfilled in the pre-order order?

Try not to freak out. You gotta look at it this way, we are already money in the bank for them so no matter how good of a dealer he is there's no incentive for them to go above and beyond for us. Its not like your gonna walk cause he didn't email you, just stay in constant contact and you should be fine.

That's interesting. I also put in a deposit and order on Friday at Subaru of Plano, being told that I was also 15/15. Money has been taken out of the account.

I went into the store and did it though, so I have a receipt for my card, as well as a printout with my MSRP and VON on it. Out of curiosity, what sales associate are you working with?

Managed to pull a second preorder at Serramonte Subaru, since they seemed to be opening up allotment there, just opening up and all. They supposedly have ~20 more spots?

Are you sure ? did you get the same paperwork ?
and here I was thinking you can't get 2 orders into the
