I'm being a good son and filling it with gas tomorrow. I got it at half tank. It's a bit below a quarter now. I always fill peoples cars back up with premium after I borrow it and checking the fluids in that thing is a no-no. I probably have to remove like 10 plastic covers to even view the fluids.

fify - you want to see the curvature of the meniscus when you look in there.

Does yours not have marks on the side that tell you when it's full?

I've tried, even with a flashlight, but the only cell I can really see is that one on the inboard side.

Take it out? Or shine light from back. I pulled mine for the winter and could plainly see level in my kitchen

I know you're in good company and think that's why the OEM battery has such a bad reputation. People have forgotten that most batteries are not maintenance-free.

Yeah, I stop at removing it. The seals always break down once you start fucking with the posts. Mine still looks all shiny and new.

Ok, back to work for me. See y'all in a few hours.

I'd like to get a little light weight one and stash it in my rear fender but there are a few mods in front of it in the list

Speaking of batteries, for the car, add a gallon of distilled water to your list. When was the last time you checked the electrolyte level in your battery?

I check mine every 6 months and it does use water.

There is a battery? How do you open the hood?

Dude! Keep it put away. Nobody here wants to see the curve of your meniscus.

Wait. This isn't Prius chat? I have been in the wrong place all this time? I wondered why everybody kept saying their car was slow and now it makes sense.
