i am currently using it as my keyring, and also am interested to see how long it lasts. a ring's plating will last 6-12 months depending on wear, you can tell very easily on an engagement ring when it is worn down because the bottom of the ring takes the most abuse so you can see the colour difference, a plain wedder (or keyring) takes general abuse everywhere so it blends in and is difficult to notice.

So far i have been supprised at how strong this metal is and how well the plating is lasting. but its only been 3 or 4 days now so time will tell.

I will be crystal clear on my findings so that you can make a choice that suits you :)

Sadly not that I know of... BUT bestwheelbase did few giveaway contests. He did was he made a thread and any one that posted in that thread were enter to the giveaway.

Well, spoke to my casters and it will be delivered tomorrow, but i wont be back at work till monday, so next week i will have them ready for sale and give away.

Toyota could have someone from their legal dept send you a C and D letter if you actively marketed the 86 keychain. When I say "actively", I mean offering it up as a regular item on eBay, etc where tha wrong person might stumble upon the ad.

I am heavily involved in restoring/fixing/playing pinball machines, mostly machines made in the 90's. There was a licensee for Williams/Bally reproduction parts down there in Aussieland that used to slap C & D's on friends of mine making aftermarket bling/accessories for pinball and putting them on fleabay.

Personally, I'd be interested in a keyring, but its just a bit more jewellery priced than I am used to paying for that type of stuff.

ive never really liked ebay, and if Toyota ask me to stop making these things i will.
