Finally got mine 2 weeks ago and I love it.. got it in gts manual.
Put 19's on it, tints, and that's it..

Mate @ work took this photo of a Subaru BRZ as he was cruising through Bankstown last Saturday(30/06/2012). He said there was an old guy driving it with a Subaru jacket.

I thought the brz got a stock wing

saw a red GT along king georges rd near hurstville heading towards beverly hills.
literally popped out of my seat!!

Spotted my first 86 on the road today, shame it was also the first 86 i've seen in an accident! It was rear ended at the Meccano Set at about 1.30 today.. Didn't look like a huge amount of damage but a hell of a lot of scatches to somebody's new baby i'm sure! Belong to anyone here???

Ouch, that's gotta suck :(

hopefully it's not too much damage now, would be awhile before there would be parts available for repairs i am thinking...

I saw this thing on Friday when I was drying through the city in the morning, at the end of Footscray road... it also shares the numberplate as the red 86 in this months latest MOTOR magazine...

Saw a Black GTS out the front of the 4 Seasons hotel on George street, Sydney tonight :)

I would be fuming! :mad0260:. Didn't look like there was too much damage, but then again I didn't get a really good look at it, but even a few scratches would be distressing.. the car couldn't be more than a few weeks old!

Ran into a White GTS on Friday night going towards Homebush on King Georges Road. Green P plater with 86GTS plates or something along the lines of that.

Drove up next to him and gave him a fist pump and we parted ways.

Made my day hahaha!

A white GTS pulled up to me at the lights Thursday night on the corner of Epping and Delhi roads. Had a quick chat to the guy through the window. Needless to say, I was very jealous.

Saw an orange "GT" 86 along albany hwy today. Heading towards carousel shopping centre. It had NSW plates strangely enough.

Spotted one at eastwood NSW today in white

Spotted a Silver GTS going down Windsor road this afternoon. Turned off Windsor and blocked me behind him. Awwwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Finally saw my 1st one in the wild (apart from my test drive) about 30 mins ago.

I was at lights on Zilmere road that turned green but I checked the mirror as i was taking off and saw these angry looking angled led running lights coming out of the dark towards me. Couldn't help myself, pulled over to let it past to check it out. Was an orange GTS with custom plates. Looked hot of course. Had to turn a corner straight after though so didn't get to stalk it for a while.

After I pulled over and back in behind it, the driver touched the brakes slightly, hope they didn't think I was unmarked police instead of a jealous dude hanging out for his own to arrive. ;-)

Saw a silver GT/GTS drive down Burwood Road towards Campsie today in Sydney.

im happy i dont see many in the wild as my heart breaks everytime, i still havent put a deposit down and dont know if there is any point to an order anymore since the wait has blown out to 18 months i might as well wait for the hype to die down and the wait to decrease somewhat before i order

There's a silver GT in my work car park at Rhodes.. Gone from only ever having seen one on the road to having two ( mine and the other) in the same spot!! Going to have to stalk the owner and say hi :)

Interesting note:
I may have been pushing the car a little tonight, and found that with the TC left on and sports mode off (normal) i took a corner much faster than recommended speed and notice the front tires slipping rather than the rear. it was only for an instant, but was wondering if that would be because of the GT wheels not being wider?

Thy look so much better in real than they do in photos.

Thats what Wheels article noted as well. They thought its due to GT wheels and tyres.

I saw him near the 86 meet at auburn. I was tempted for a race with my aurion. Kid and wife in the car so no go. !!!

I spotted the LED's about 100 metres behind me and I knew it was the 86 gts

Hehe awesome feeling driving past a "Get Ready for Raw Driving" billboard ad on Southern Cross Drive past the airport this arvo. Haha a few tradies in their 'lux in the next lane turned their heads and started pointing. Only thing I could do was grin :D

Haha! I had that same feeling for the first few days! - just gauging people's reactions. I'm kinda over it now though :P you'll be the same - give it a few hundred ks. Remember, watch the road not the cars man! :thumbup:
