I've been contacted but haven't yet received tickets @thejevans. Are we going to receive them at our mailing address or on Friday?

I've looked all over the Grand Prix website and I couldn't find it - What times do the gates open this weekend? I know the first practices start around 8:00.

Pat, the contact for the grand prix, represents the Porsche corral. Asked if I wanted the passes for the Porsche corral on the follow up after I sent my info. Are we linking with the porsche corral? checked the website, and BMW, Corvette, Porsche, all have official corral sites on the Grand Prix Website. Didn't see the FR-S/BRZ

Has anybody got a gameplan here? I didn't ever recieve any tickets. I talked with Pat and he said that he would be at the corrals in the morning.

Are we meeting up anywhere prior or just meeting at the corral? Are we arriving at 8am? or earlier?

Just emailed Pat, said he was running behind with paperwork. In my case, I'm not sure for anyone else who hasn't received their tickets (probably), I'm picking them up at the Marriott tomorrow. Not sure of a meeting point either. I'm literally a few blocks away so if anyone wants to meet up and head to the Marriott I'm leaving around 12 tomorrow.

Prolly not gonna make it up there by noon time. Slept in and still got a rack of stuff to do before I leave outta here. I haven't gotten a response back from Pat or @thejevans so I'm not really pressed to hurry up there when I don't even know what's goin on.

I'll be going there tomorrow! Not sure how I'm going to survive in the crazy crowd... but we'll see.

Hey all, made it in but Pat somehow misplaced the tickets, so I'll give her # if anyone is interested. So far, I'm the only one here so I said whatever and parked by some ferraris with a Porsche corral pass. Hopefully there will be better turnout tomorrow. Every other make showed in full force.

Gawd. Finally made it to the hotel. Took four different tries from different directions. So is it just me and @D4S that's showin up this weekend? This thread seems completely dead at this point. Is @thejevans awol? I signed up with this thinkin we were gonna have more than two guys present.

Got the rest of my tickets. I'm guessing this really never got all the way through or something. There is no corral for the FR-S/BRZ, and I'm guessing not nearly enough people were contacted. Pretty much what was given to me were parking passes on lot F (I'm literally closer parking at my place), grandstand and paddock passes. The tickets are awesome but don't waste your time with the parking pass/corral thing, don't think there was one to begin with.

Pretty crazy thay 10-20 cars flaked. As well @thejevans? Does anyone know if he's dead or just Canadian? Kinda weird everyone went awol. You couldn't ask for better race weather, vantage points and company. I've met a rack of cool people while here.

Me and @ette never got contacted, so we just showed up and wandered around for the last 2 days :/

I wish I was able to get up there for the race, but I've been watching since lap 20ish. The last few laps have been shitty in turn 1.

Yep. Pretty crazy. I honestly hope that evans is ok. I managed to get tix and passes. This was an absolute blast! I met so many new people and had a really great time. It coulda been better if we had an FT presence but me and D4S were reppin for the forums.

Parkin actually worked out just fine. You'd be surprised how many people walked by the exotics to check our cars out.

I'm definitely in for this next year if B-more decides to keep it goin.

Sorry I missed y'all again @ette and @disgruntld. We can make a better plan next time so far off travelers like yourselves have some kinda support. Y'all can always feel free to pm for any kind of help needed.

I stopped and talked to you with my dad on Saturday. I was good to meet you in person.

I'm alive. I called and emailed Pat all last week, but didn't get contacted back by Pat until late Friday night via Email. And by that point, I wasn't going to pay full price and was pretty furious. I couldn't even get any information on how people were supposed to pay, where they would get the tickets, or any other details. I didn't end up making it on Saturday because I needed to cool off, so I played paintball instead. Sunday, I had a free ticket lined up and planned to go, but that supplier flaked on me at the last minute as well. Pat works for RaceOn Baltimore, the group that put the Grand Prix together, and it's very frustrating that this process was handled the way it was to the point of more-or-less failure. I apologize for not updating during the weekend but I don't like posting while I'm heated, so I stayed away from computers for the weekend. I hope everyone who went, had fun, and I'm sorry for any frustrations my absence caused.

Just glad that you're alive and well brother!! No worries. This kinda stuff happens when ever you have more than one head involved. Next go round I can take lead or we can work through the logistics with multiple heads on our end.

I was able to make it and had a blast. My main concern with next time is the far off travelers. I will make contact lists with screen names, real names, phone #'s, emails etc.. This way if one head gets shut down we have multiple heads in place to follow through with the operation. Thanks for trying to take all of this on by yourself and the efforts that you put forth.

Same here. Kudos for keeping your head throughout. I showed up because I pretty much live at the Grand Prix. Thanks again for putting this together even though it was a bit of a SNAFU, I had a blast. If you're doing this again next year, I'm definitely in.
